Photography became personal to me through loss and the reminder that life is fleeting. After losing two of my best friends in high school, photos became more than images. They became memories I deeply treasure. I’ve been a self-made photographer since 2019, and in 2020 I spent a year in Atlanta second shooting luxury weddings, refining my craft and style. I later moved back home to Salem, IL to be close to family and now proudly serve the Southern Illinois and St. Louis areas, capturing meaningful moments with intention, joy, and heart.

What sets me apart is the heart I bring into every wedding and the way I pay attention to the moments that pass too quickly. My style is true-to-color, timeless, and film-inspired, mixing editorial, guided portraits with real, candid moments. I’m watching for the hug with grandma, your dad’s quiet tears, the laughter happening off to the side. I want your photos to feel like your day actually felt and for you to leave your experience with Mist feeling taken care of, understood, and so glad you trusted me.

Depending on the wedding collection you choose, I will bring a second shooter with me.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I edit each photos for blemish removal and teeth whitening, however, there will be additional charges for service for extensive photo editing, which is based on my discretion.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. However, each wedding client will receive a sneak peek of their wedding day approximately 1-2 days following your wedding so that you aren't waiting anxiously for all of your photos for 4-6 weeks!
You can expect about 500-700 final edited images. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
In my 3 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
We do not offer RAW or unedited files in order to maintain the integrity and style of our brand. However, we do deliver all final edited images matching our brand style! You will also receive black and white images, based on our creative and artistic choices!
Of course we do! Tell us where we are going and we will have our bags packed — the world is your oyster! Our travel fee policy is simple, anything that is over 2+ hours from Salem, Illinois and/or requires airline travel, car rental, or hotel stays, we require those fees to be covered.
Yes, we do! We will be in contact with you throughout your planning process. About a month from your date, we will send out a final questionnaire to get all the details about your wedding day and begin to create a photography timeline and family shot list for you! We will make any revisions to the timeline based on your wants/needs and you will receive a final timeline 1-2 weeks before your date!
