“Our wedding was in August 2024 and we held our reception at The Rose. Even before we signed our contract, Patricia had great communication, was a wealth of knowledge, made us feel comfortable, and answered all of our questions. Then based on the day we selected for our reception, Emily was our day of coordinator. Emily is just as detail oriented and communicative as Patricia. They make an excellent team, are a pleasure to work with, and are phenomenal at what they do. Truly! They know every question to ask to ensure every detail is executed to your vision and that's exactly what happened. Our day was absolutely perfect. We got so many compliments on the venue and the food! We chose their BBQ menu, an assortment of desserts (the churros were a big hit), and late night snacks. We can't recommend The Rose Venue, Patricia, Emily, and The Rose team enough!”

“We had the chance to DJ a wedding here recently and it was absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony takes place right down by the Colorado River, which creates a really special, intimate setting with the water and canyon walls all around you. From there, guests head up to the reception area on the terrace, which overlooks the river and mountains—such a cool transition and a great way to separate the spaces. The patio setup for dinner and dancing is beautiful and feels very “Colorado.” Overall, it’s a really unique venue that combines a true outdoor experience with a polished reception space. Definitely a great option for couples looking for something memorable and a little different. — Nathan & Kyann Firefly Entertainment”

“From the first conversation with Jordan at The Wrangler Ranch, our daughter knew she and her now husband made the right choice. She's personable, sweet, and genuinely invested in making sure our daughter’s day was perfect. When severe weather hit, Jordan sprang into action to keep everyone safe while still making sure the reception could happen—she didn't let the storm slow us down. Her land is absolutely beautiful, and the whole team went above and beyond to take care of the newlyweds, the bridal party, family, and guests. Jordan and her staff were transparent about everything, made us feel welcome, and treated us like family. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to share our daughter’s special day with. Thank you Jordan for opening up your home and land for our family and friends. You are an angel and now forever friend!”

2 Penguins is not your typical wedding location. We are a Taproom and Restaurant providing quality food, service and beverages. We were in the traditional wedding business under the umbrella business, Panache Catering, Inc, for over 30 years and left it because we eventually were worn out by what it had become. In that time we catered thousands of weddings. The expectations among a some groups of wedding families simply became impossible to meet. If you, too, are becoming worn out by what you are finding in the wedding industry you likely have found a great alternative at 2 Penguins.

“We cannot recommend Two Penguins highly enough! Kris and her entire team made our 130-guest wedding absolutely magical. The day before our wedding, rain was forecasted right when we had planned our patio ceremony. Kris walked us through indoor options with such calm confidence that we felt completely at ease about changing our plans. When torrential downpours hit during our actual ceremony time, we were so grateful for her foresight! She even handled last-minute adjustments to the guest entrance to keep everyone dry, all with complete professionalism. The entire team was phenomenal. They were friendly, efficient, and genuinely happy to be part of our celebration. The open bar service was top-notch, and all the food was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the mac and cheese, French fry bar, and Brussels sprouts. They were crowd favorites! The venue was ideal for our group, with plenty of room for guests to sit and visit while also having ample space for dancing. Since we got married on a Sunday, we had access to both the Fireplace room and the main bar area, which created the perfect layout for our reception. The team helped create that relaxed, joyful party atmosphere. Despite weather challenges, our wedding day was flawless. We received countless compliments from guests about the venue, food, and service. Thank you, Kris and team, for exceeding every expectation! I highly recommend Two Penguins to anyone wanting a fun, casual wedding with exceptional service, delicious food, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day beautiful.”

Whether you're reserving a room block, hosting a welcome party at FiNO, or gathering for farewell brunch before everyone heads home, All Inn offers a wedding weekend that's full of character, not cookie-cutter hotel ballrooms. “My husband and I have been visiting the Botanic Gardens for years and it was the only venue we wanted for our wedding day. The wedding day was everything we had hoped for and many of our guests commented afterward how beautiful it was. We also knew ahead of time that we wanted an intimate wedding and the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium as our location. The weather was fairly warm on our date but our guests didn't feel it because the venue has lots of shade with the solarium and trees. It also felt like a more secluded space, which is something that we wanted. Our wedding date was a very popular Saturday in June, and I believe 5 other weddings were taking place at the same time! Because our location felt so private, we hardly noticed. The only exception being the "golden hour" for photography, where we were taking photos in the Japanese garden and carefully maneuvering around other couples also taking photos. If you want to be the only bride in sight, keep this in mind. We didn't care though. Because we had such a small wedding (40 people), we chose not to have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. I would recommend one for this venue if you have a larger group or if you don't have a lot of helping hands. We had a lot of help from our families on the day of the event - helping set up things like the gifts/card table and brining in liquor in coolers. We also carried out a lot of items ourselves at the end of the night. This isn't a complaint from our end, as we expected to do some of the coordination ourselves. Just keep in mind that if you don't want to have to do anything on your wedding day, be sure to hire someone for that role. Emily was great at coordinating from the Botanic Gardens side. She gave us helpful information when needed, responded quickly, and we also met her about a month in advance to walk through the site, going over details on things like chairs and tables. In addition, you get an hour walkthrough during the day before your event. On the day of, I booked a touch-up room (included in the price). They have a limited catering list and we were happy to use Serendipity Catering for our food, bartenders, service staff, desserts and floral, which made coordinating everything a lot easier! I highly recommend working with Brie and Raven. Another perk of booking this venue is that you can bring in your own alcohol, which can save money. Negatively, it was a bit of work for our families to haul all of this in and out while in formalwear. Depending on which space you book, you are also only able to have acoustic music. We wanted (and hired) a string quartet, so this worked for us. However, if you want to dance the night away with a DJ, you would need to book elsewhere for the reception or book their indoor ballroom. The best surprise for us was a free couples membership for a year to the Botanic Gardens. We are so excited to have the opportunity to spend more time here, enjoying their many event offerings throughout the year. We can't wait to return year after year!”

“We had our wedding at The Ramble and stayed for multiple nights leading up to and after the special day. I have zero complaints about our whole stay, everything was perfect. The venue is stunning. The food and drinks were delicious. The rooms were very cute and comfortable. The staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful to us and our guests. They went out of their way multiple times to ensure our comfort and it was so appreciated. Leading up to the day, they were very communicative and so welcoming with each visit we made. Planning the wedding from out of state, they truly took so much pressure off our plate. Tessa and her team absolutely killed it, and it shows in how smoothly they are able to run an event. We’re so thankful they helped create a special day for us.”

“Knoebel Events is a beautiful interior with excellent friendly staff, including a staff member with a lifetime achievement award in events. We loved the interior stone and metal accent plus wine cellar. We'd love to come back and rent the wine cellar for our anniversary. The brick patio was an great cocktail space. We loved that we had an indoor atrium option for that too. There were plenty of bar locations to accommodate our guests. The tasting is not to be missed. It was a great opportunity to get a sense of their style of food. We gravitated to the sauces made with wine- very good. The beef short ribs were top notch so much so we had two helpings! The chef was very easy to work with as we had some special cultural food requests. He spent one on one time with my husband for a taste test of his special request. So speak up and see what they can do to work with you! Pricing worked for our budget! We found it to be one of the most affordable places to have a reception in Denver. Trust me, we research everywhere in Colorado! We wanted a step above an inexpensive church hall / outdoor venue at park but couldn't afford local mansions with caterers wanting a minimum spent, hotels with less character (or you would have to spend money on environmental decor on top of table decor, country/private clubs with required minimums / overpriced food, nor restaurants with limited space and a different vibe. You get beauty, class, style, versatility, a wine cellar, grand staircase, patio, atrium, and excellent service! FYI, there is a service fee in lieu of a tip which in the end worked for us. They were very forthcoming with all pricing. Trixie Farmer and team went above and beyond. They were always so friendly plus cool and calm under pressure. The student workers were very motivated and on top of it. I did not see any lazy workers. These student workers want to be there- hospitality is part of their study and career choice. We had many small details so we were pleased they helped set these up. Trixie took the time to get to know us. She made excellent recommendations and was very open about what we would and would not need while still leaving us the freedom to decide. She checked in with us, gave us tours, and let us do some small mock set ups of our center pieces. She also welcomed us when we arrived from the church ceremony. This is an event center and a school of hospitality so give the event center a little grace as the school year can effect how busy they are- finals week, breaks, etc. Being a former teacher myself, it was easy to understand this dynamic but as a bride I was eager to get the next email communication follow up. These employees know what they are doing so no matter what, it worked out! My only criticism is that due to a booking following our event we cut our reception shorter than we had hoped. We knew this was possible up front but an additional last minute request for 30 min less was a little disappointing. We were compensated- so that was pleasing. Overall you can not go wrong with Knoebel Events and with Trixie Farmer- Lifetime Achievement Award winner!”

About wedding venues in Byers, CO

What Makes Colorado's Wedding Venues Unique?

Colorado's wedding venues offer something truly special, blending architectural diversity with stunning natural scenery. You'll find sophisticated urban elegance at the Grand Hyatt Denver right alongside the rustic charm of Spruce Mountain Ranch. Every window at the Flagstaff House Restaurant frames breathtaking mountain vistas while Tapestry House By Wedgewood Weddings pairs Victorian beauty with meticulously maintained gardens. Mountain View Ranch takes indoor-outdoor flow to the next level with retractable walls that let you seamlessly connect with nature while keeping guests comfortable. When it comes to costs you'll be pleasantly surprised - Colorado venues typically run between $6,000 and $6,800, which falls on the lower end of what you'd pay nationally where prices range from $6,500 to $12,000.

How Much Does a Colorado Mountain Wedding Cost?

Planning a Colorado mountain wedding for 150 guests? You're looking at around $46,999 total. Here's how that breaks down across your key vendors: - Florists: 16% ($7,466) - Venues: 14% ($6,399) - Catering: 11% ($5,119) - Photography: 10% ($4,622) - Videography: 9% ($4,124) - Wedding Planning: 9% ($4,124) - Bar Services: 9% ($4,095) - Bands and DJs: 3% ($1,500) - Cake and Desserts: 2% ($801) - Hair and Makeup: 1% ($670)

When Should You Book Colorado Wedding Services?

Timing is everything when planning your Colorado wedding. Start with your venue 13 months out - that's 390 days before your big day. Your photographer and wedding planner should be next on the list about 10 months ahead. Most other vendors including your florist caterer and videographer need about 9 months' notice while hair and makeup artists typically want 8 months' heads up. Planning a fall wedding? Book even earlier since September sees the highest demand.

Which Colorado Mountain Regions Offer the Best Wedding Settings?

You'll find perfect settings year-round in Colorado's mountains. The Grange shows off spectacular fall colors with its aspen groves while Della Terra lets you host cozy outdoor ceremonies with snowy peaks as your backdrop. Spring brings wildflower meadows at Wild Basin Lodge and summer celebrations shine under Balistreri Vineyards' pergola-covered patio. September proves most popular combining perfect temperatures with reliable weather.

How Do Denver Wedding Venues Compare to Mountain Locations?

Whether you're drawn to city sophistication or mountain majesty Colorado's got you covered. Craftwood Peak puts you face-to-face with Pikes Peak while The Simon offers industrial-chic style with Denver skyline views. You can celebrate in the historic Kirk Of Highland or surrounded by Garden of the Gods' stunning red rocks. City venues like Rooftop1630 deliver urban views while mountain locations connect you directly with nature.

What Weather Contingencies Do Colorado Venues Provide?

Colorado venues know how to handle whatever weather comes your way. Mount Vernon Canyon Club keeps you connected to the views through its glass-enclosed reception space while Church Ranch Event Center offers multiple indoor ceremony spots with mountain vistas through massive windows. Want a winter ceremony? Ashley Ridge has heated outdoor pavilions and Meadow Creek Lodge keeps everyone comfortable with covered walkways between venues.

Where Can You Find All-Inclusive Colorado Wedding Packages?

Looking to simplify your planning? Wedgewood Weddings properties across Colorado including Tapestry House and Mountain View Ranch handle everything from catering to coordination. The Grand Hyatt Denver includes room blocks with their packages while Balistreri Vineyards wraps up wine service catering and coordination in one easy contract. These venues make planning easier with dedicated coordinators managing timelines and vendor teams.

How Do Colorado Wedding Budgets Scale with Guest Count?

Your Colorado wedding budget flexes with your guest list: - 50 guests: $20,802 - 100 guests: $34,304 - 150 guests: $46,999 - 200 guests: $58,346 - 250 guests: $69,693 - 300 guests: $81,041 This scaling helps you maintain the quality you want while adjusting for your perfect guest count.
