Booking with Simon was super easy, they are easily reachable by email. The food was great and everyone loved the tiramisu we had picked out for dessert. “We are still on cloud nine after our wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas, and we owe so much of that joy to Abbey Catering & Event Design. They were simply phenomenal from day one! When we first inquired, Will was great at explaining all of the packages they provide and answering any questions we had. After we signed, we were assigned to Petr Trebin our amazing wedding coordinator!! Petr truly brought our vision to life and we are SO thankful for all of the work he did to make it our dream wedding! Petr made the time leading up to our wedding day and the actual day so seamless! He managed the timeline, coordinated with all of the vendors, and beautifully set up our welcome table and reception tables! He also made sure to have apps and drinks set aside for us after the ceremony to enjoy! He truly thinks of everything and is the best! The food was absolutely incredible and a major highlight for both us and our guests. We chose the dual entrée of panko-herb crusted chicken and NY striploin, which were both flavorful and beautifully plated. During cocktail hour, guests raved about the tray-passed appetizers and loved our open bar! David the event captain, and their team made it a great experience for our guests. We had our cake and cupcakes included in the package through Sugar Bear Provisions and our guests were raving about how delicious this was! The florals that were included in the package from Emerald & Ivy were breathtaking from the ceremony arch to the bouquet and reception tables! They were also flexible with us providing our own vases since we had specific vases we wanted to use, which tied perfectly with the gold flatware and charger plates we upgraded to! Our DJ Brian who was included in the package through the wedding entertainment collective was awesome! He kept the energy high, and the music was a perfect blend of our favorite styles and totally reflected our personalities as a couple! We also opted to include photography & videography in our package and both Deb and Tareq were fabulous to work with! We love being able to look back on our video and photos that takes us right back to our day. Every vendor included in the their all-inclusive package through The Abbey was top-tier, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day feel effortless, beautiful, and completely us! “We could not have been happier with the service we received from Buckboard as the catering provider for our wedding. Right from the initial meeting Ashley, (Buckboard’s sales manager) gave us a personalized introduction and very friendly tasting. It was clear from this initial interaction that she cared more about our experience and less about just becoming one of their customers. The food was/is absolutely delicious. Every single item was cooked perfectly, and it was clear from the initial tasting that their chefs and cooks take genuine pride in cooking high quality meals that do not come off as “mass produced” like a number of other caterers in the area. We have lost count of the number of guests who told us during and after the meal that it was by far the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, and this is reflective of the company as a whole. Ashley and JP (the Chief Operating Officer) were both present during the planning process, and worked with us directly to determine a menu that would be both wonderful for the guests as well as within our budget. When dietary restrictions were presented, Ashley and her team made the accommodations easy and care free, and provided options that were also delicious. She and her staff were so friendly and professional on the day-of that a number of guests went out of their way to comment on the crew. We cannot rave enough about the services we received from Buckboard Catering. To make matters better they also operate a full-time restaurant in El Cajon, which we plan on frequenting regularly when visiting San Diego. For prospective couples planning a wedding, choosing Buckboard as your caterer will not only put your mind at ease knowing the quality of service you will be receiving, but you and your guests will be absolutely thrilled with the meal you get to enjoy.”

We reached out to NOMADA through email and had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura who was super professional, helpful, and always coming up with ways to make our event even better! We got to meet her and the NOMADA team in person at our tasting and it was WONDERFUL! They let us try everything (which we recommend going with an absolutely empty stomach because you're gonna want to try EVERYTHING)! We fell in love with all of the food (especially the Chilean Sea bass tacos--YUMMM!) and we were already tailoring what we would want for our wedding menu! After the tasting, we signed a contract that they really helped tailor towards our event and make sure that everything was covered (i.e. mobile kitchens, chips and salsa, servers, etc.). After that, we had to wait a few months until the event (just DREAMING of eating their delicious food) and all during that time, they answered all of our questions and made sure we felt taken care of! When it was finally time for our wedding... NOMADA WAS INCREDIBLE! So many of our guests told us they were some of the best tacos/food they have EVER had at a wedding before! They also couldn't stop talking about how nice and helpful the team of servers were! Overall, the whole team SMASHED IT out of the park in every sense and we truly couldn't have been more thankful them! Overall, the food was delicious, the service was efficient and so personable, and all of their attention to detail throughout the whole planning process was unmatched. Our guests felt so taken care of and well fed as everyone went back for seconds (and possibly thirds)! They are worth every single penny! “Chef Cooper and his team are an amazing group of people. I did not have to worry about a single thing in regards to food for my wedding reception. My reception was only 40ppl so, if you are having a small wedding reception, definitely look into Krafted Culture to cater it. I looked into other caterers before I came across Krafted Culture but their minimum to cater started at 60ppl and up. Communication was excellent through the entire process and customizing menu to accommodate allergies and vegan guests was not an issue. Everyone loved the food, especially the tri-tip! What was also convenient is that they also rent out tables, chairs, and table linens. Highly recommend!”

They took extra care for our guests with allergies and one guest who has Celiac, to make sure there was no cross contamination and everything would be safe and secure. Above and beyond! “From our first call to the day of our wedding, Lorrielle's was always there when we needed them. They responded right away to every question and made planning feel simple and stress-free. The food was fresh and delicious, and their team thought through every detail from decorations to helping us find lodging for our guests. What really impressed us was their crew—there were enough people on staff to handle everything, even keeping the bathrooms spotless all night.
