Booking with Simon was super easy, they are easily reachable by email. The food was great and everyone loved the tiramisu we had picked out for dessert. We also hired our DJ, Alex, through them and he was so fun and hyped everyone up on the dancefloor. Our bartender was even able to recognize everyones drink orders by the end of the night! “What a wonderful day and a more awesome team to work with :) Abbey catering was beyond amazing and blew our expectations! From the start Will, who signed us up, was most helpful and really knew his information. We clicked instantly and it was such a pleasure to talk with him and meet him in person. We signed up for the tasting before signing with Abbey Catering and that was such a great experience. We got to meet Will in person and there was so much food to try and luckily bring home. After meeting Will we really had a great feeling and signed up within that week. The food was incredible at the tasting, and it was hard choosing which entrée and hours d’oeuvres to choose from since everything was so good. Chuck, our wedding coordinator, was beyond great and so helpful. He was such an asset to have on our side and really made the day go smooth. He was also so friendly and great to work with. We really felt like we made friends with our Abbey team. There were absolutely no hiccups whatsoever and I was so calm the whole day. David, our catering lead, was another amazing team member. He was right there to offer us food first and make sure we had enough of our share. The rest of the catering team always made us a priority too and I was very hungry after the ceremony in between pictures so that was so great. We ordered the following for tray passed hors d’oeuvres: petite beef wellington, wild mushroom arancini, bruschetta, and bacon wrapped stuffed dates. We opted for the dual entrée of the boneless short ribs, and the panko-herb crusted chicken with vegetables and the truffle smashed potatoes. All were so good and I wish I could eat them all again. Our guests could not stop raving about the food. They even made dietary restriction meals for several of our guests, and they said it was one of the best vegan/vegetarian meals they have ever had. We really were impressed with the food and so glad we went with Abbey as that was important for us to have really good tasting food. We opted for the whole package with their vendors for flowers, DJ, photographer, and cake. Best decision ever!!! We had Emerald and Ivy for the florist and my goodness Mishele, and the Abbey team put together exactly what I pictured in my mind! Such beautiful flowers and we rented bud vases and candles from her. DJ Abel from the Wedding Entertainment Collective was beyond amazing! He played our songs and knew the vibes we were going for. The dance floor was a hit, and our guests were dancing the whole night. Everyone was telling us the DJ was so good! Misha, our photographer, was amazing and made us feel so comfortable. The pictures are so beautiful! The cake and mini cupcakes from Sugar Bears Sweet Provisions were out of this world! I’m so glad we saved our wedding cake because we ate it the next day. Our guests loved the mini cupcakes too and we even had enough to give out at treats and take home. We really are so grateful we decided to go with Abbey catering. They really went above and beyond. The whole team, Will, Chuck, David, and the caterers were 10 out of 10 Thank you so much and to the Abbey vendors for making our day even more special!”

“We could not have been happier with the service we received from Buckboard as the catering provider for our wedding. Right from the initial meeting Ashley, (Buckboard’s sales manager) gave us a personalized introduction and very friendly tasting. It was clear from this initial interaction that she cared more about our experience and less about just becoming one of their customers. The food was/is absolutely delicious. Every single item was cooked perfectly, and it was clear from the initial tasting that their chefs and cooks take genuine pride in cooking high quality meals that do not come off as “mass produced” like a number of other caterers in the area. We have lost count of the number of guests who told us during and after the meal that it was by far the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, and this is reflective of the company as a whole. Ashley and JP (the Chief Operating Officer) were both present during the planning process, and worked with us directly to determine a menu that would be both wonderful for the guests as well as within our budget. When dietary restrictions were presented, Ashley and her team made the accommodations easy and care free, and provided options that were also delicious. She and her staff were so friendly and professional on the day-of that a number of guests went out of their way to comment on the crew. We cannot rave enough about the services we received from Buckboard Catering. To make matters better they also operate a full-time restaurant in El Cajon, which we plan on frequenting regularly when visiting San Diego. For prospective couples planning a wedding, choosing Buckboard as your caterer will not only put your mind at ease knowing the quality of service you will be receiving, but you and your guests will be absolutely thrilled with the meal you get to enjoy.”

“My cousin, giving advice to me for my wedding, said, "No one remembers the food at weddings, its just chicken or fish, don't sweat it", and I took that as a challenge. With a sizeable contingent of my family having celiac disease, and being gluten and dairy intolerant myself, I wanted to find a meal that was majority restriction-diet friendly without non-restricted guests noticing. NOMADA's menu was perfect for our crowd - the passed apps, mobile kitchen taco bar, and all the fixings, sides, and beverages were all gluten and dairy free, and no one with celiac got sick. In addition, our venue did not have a kitchen, so their mobile outdoor kitchen set-up meant we had fresh, hot tortillas and tacos, instead of food cooked offside and reheated right before service. It was a smash hit - Guests went back for seconds and thirds. Salsas ranged from mild to medium spiciness, but were all so flavorful they didn't need to be spicier, and the yellow salsa especially was the talk of the night. The service, presentation, taste, and everything was perfect; at least two friends who attended the wedding are planning to use them for future events they were so impressed. The appetizer meatballs - a can't miss.”

“From our first call to the day of our wedding, Lorrielle's was always there when we needed them. They responded right away to every question and made planning feel simple and stress-free. The food was fresh and delicious, and their team thought through every detail from decorations to helping us find lodging for our guests. What really impressed us was their crew—there were enough people on staff to handle everything, even keeping the bathrooms spotless all night. When our photographer accidentally broke one of our flower arrangements, they cleaned it up instantly and turned the broken flowers into petals for our flower girl to toss.
