“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“1000/10!! Lucky Devils gave us absolutely the best wedding experience possible. All communication and planning calls were extremely professional, prompt, and easy. We had a prescriptive plan on our music taste and preferences, which Lucky Devils was happy to accommodate, but they also gave guidance based on their expertise, which we so appreciated. We put playlists together because we wanted certain songs playing, but by the time the band came on (we just gave them general guidance beforehand, nothing too prescriptive), their set list was exactly what we were looking for and they completely set the vibe and energy of the party with little direction. We hired them for our ceremony music, which they were able to do with the live guitarist as well as use a speaker for walk down the aisle songs. Everything went seamlessly and exactly how we imagined, but somehow even better. Working with Lucky Devils was an amazing experience from end. They were also very positive and lively on-site, which made us and the guests have so much fun. We have a family band and Lucky Devils even let them play a live song, which will always be one of our favorite memories from our wedding day. Lucky Devils is a one stop shop and can help you with anything, as they have such range- you can hire for your ceremony AND reception (even if in different locations) as an emcee, DJ, live band, etc. and that's exactly what we needed. They have tons of clients at one time but somehow made us feel so special and like we were their only client. Music is so important to us, and honestly I have been putting together a playlist for years, so we were looking for the best group possible to host the experience we were looking for. Lucky Devils was exactly it and it was so amazing to see this music come to life. They brought so much energy, fun, and connection to our guests, we still talk about it! We were honestly so blown away at how amazing the music was throughout the night. Would 100% recommend and do all over again if we had the choice. “We’re so glad we hired Spencer to DJ our wedding! He handled the audio for the wedding ceremony itself, MC’d the reception, played the music for the dancing, and also provided uplighting for the event space. Everything he worked on just went smoothly. The audio for the ceremony was high quality and just worked. He did a great job as MC, staying on time, announcing what was happening, and making everyone feel welcome. He did fantastically with the music too - we had a few specific requests, and he nailed them all, but most of the night we gave only vague instructions and he made a ton of great picks, keeping energy high on the dance floor. The uplighting he provided was beautiful as well and really elevated the space! Throughout the process, he was easy to work with, timely, communicated proactively, and was always on top of every little detail. We’d definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a DJ!”

Him and his wife not only nailed my dress code better than most of my guests, multiple times throughout cocktail hour and dinner I saw them in the crowd mingling and being so friendly to my guests which meant a lot to me.
