“Ryan is truly the jack of all trades, the absolute kindest human being, and incredibly professional. We are SO glad he was a (major!) part of our wedding day! He was super communicative when we had questions, helped give us some advice, and *!!!even learned a new song just for us!!!* We had just attended a friends wedding and the music was super unrelatable to my fiance (husband now lol) and our friends. We were bummed and worried - hopeful that ours would be fun and get people out there! Ryan was AMAZING. “Gemma was the best wedding DJ we could ever have asked for! We heard about her as a recommendation from our venue (Curtis Arboretum) which she is very familiar with. She invited me to see her DJ a set and she was dancing and singing with everyone. We knew she would be perfect. She is very communicative and played music that got all ages on the dance floor. She plays all genres and you can tell she really loves each event she is a part of. I had multiple guests come up and tell me how much they enjoyed her DJ'ing. With her services, lighting can be included as well as a wonderful pink photobooth. She also has vintage photography (see below for a black and white photo from her) and videography services available. She even saved the day and had a microphone for us to use during our ceremony when we found out we did not have one. At the end of the event, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend we had known for a long time!”

From the very beginning he made us feel comfortable with him and he projected a confidence that all of our requests were not only possible, but would be easy for him to accommodate. The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). “My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! “The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. “Johnny V and Kevin kept the party going all night! We couldn’t have asked for a better duo. Johnny V was our main point of contact and was very attentive and receptive to what we wanted for both our ceremony and wedding. Everyone loved the music they played and how interactive Johnny V was with the crowd; there were always people on the dance floor. You could tell how much they both love what they do; it was like art the way they put the night’s playlist together. I would highly recommend both, they were fantastic! The photobooth was a big hit, too, with a wide selection of props to choose from. I believe Jim was running that show and he did a heck of a job considering we had a gaggle of kids running that booth all night. “If you are on the fence about booking Pat & Sean for your wedding, let this be your sign to BOOK THEM!!! Pat & Sean were on our venue's list of preferred entertainment vendors, and came HIGHLY recommended by all the staff. All of them noted how wonderful they were and how much other couples had loved them. Once we looked them up and saw their covers on Youtube, AND that they DJed AND sung live, we knew immediately we had to book them. They were a breeze to communicate with leading up to our wedding day, and whenever I had any sort of question or needed to reach out to them about something, they were quick to respond. I had a few random requests to cut some lines from some pre-recorded songs, and they even were able to do that for us, which was really going above and beyond. I provided them with Spotify playlists for inspiration for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, and they understood the vibe perfectly and played ALL of my husband and I's favorite songs. “Dj Nate was absolutely incredible! He is organized, thorough, and an absolute delight to work with. His portal was super easy to use and songs that weren’t on there already were very easy to add. His experience was evident by his superb professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail. Anything that had to be shortened (our first dance song) or lengthened (the processional music) was done so seamlessly. His lighting set up was amazing and so much fun. Everything ran so smoothly even with last min changes I made. I would absolutely recommend!!!”

“We hired Rick for our September 2024 wedding, and he did a wonderful job! He kept guests on the dance floor all night long, and did a great job MCing our event and helping us orchestrate several performances. We planned special entrances for each member of the bridal party, a surprise choreographed dance, and multiple speeches which he handled with ease. He also brought great lighting and photobooth, which was a hit with the guests. His prices were very reasonable while still delivering high quality service. Rick was well organized and great to work with leading up to the event. We have no hesitation in recommending him to others!”

“What a NIGHT. From top to bottom Tipsy Wicked CAME THROUGH. I met with Christine. Few months before the wedding and she put all my crazy wedding anxiety to bed like, instantly. She was so calm and professional and answered all my million questions. She even humored me with an extra call the week of the wedding with my Mom on it. Lol She and Seth went out of their way to make the music fit our wedding vibes perfectly. I knew I would cry when I was walking down the aisle, but I didn't expect it to feel like something out of a movie when my song started playing. Music is a huge part of our story, and so the music was one of the first things we picked out and I could not have been happier. From note one to the very last song at the end of the reception, I wouldn't change one thing. PLEASE book them. You will not be disappointed. My guests have not stopped talking about it and I already know at least one friend has booked them already. Can not more highly recommend.”

Schaffer Sound Disc Jockeys is a family owned and operated business. Our founder, Ken Schaffer, started the company in 1977 at the ripe old age of fourteen! He started providing DJ entertainment for grade schools and parties and as he grew older demand for his company’s services soared. Soon, those same students he was playing for in school gymnasiums and cafeterias were getting married and many hired his company to perform at their weddings. Ken gradually handed the reins of the company over to the very capable hands of his brothers, Jon and Dave Schaffer.

“I was so nervous about the DJ portion of our wedding because it seems to be something that a lot of couples end up unsatisfied with, and I'm such a music junkie. But Schaffer delivered all around when it came to communication, organization, and overall bringing the party. Chris, the owner, walked us through everything really early on, and they have a system for filling out every single thing you could want from first dance songs (and how long you want them to last) to do not plays and must plays. I got to take my time perfecting this and it made me feel so good about everything. Big Mike, who was our wedding DJ, came with a HEALTHY dose of good vibes. He made me feel so comfortable and excited about how everything was going to go, he helped organize the wedding party entrances, and he made everyone feel welcomed and warm throughout the night. The dance floor was filled! My favorite thing he did was take note of when I finally got to the dance floor, and he played all of my "must play" songs so I had a chance to dance to all of my favorites. That was so thoughtful and it was such a delight to get to dance to these songs after such a crazy day, I got to totally let loose. Cannot recommend these guys enough! So professional, so chill, such a joy to work with. I hope I see them again at a wedding soon!”

“Sam is THE MAN!!! He and his band are absolutely phenomenal. He performed at our wedding in April, and we still have people commenting on how amazing the band was and asking who they were. From the moment I first reached out to inquire about having him play at our wedding, Sam was incredibly communicative and flexible. He let us pick almost our entire set list for the night and even learned a bunch of new songs because he knew how important they were to us. I truly cannot recommend Sam enough. His saxophone player performed during our ceremony, Sam led an acoustic set for cocktail hour, and then the full band played straight through the entire reception!
