“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers - even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long. Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. I chose to have live piano and violin at my ceremony and they sounded beautiful together. They played every song I requested with depth and precision- even the fairly new music (I requested Birds of a Feather for the recessional, and they NAILED it!) They provided mics to the musicians and the officiant stand, which ended up being a lifesaver for us. The DJ and violinist were both fun and talented, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. DJ Servaun in particular did an amazing job matching the vibes, emceeing, and balancing in the moment song requests with a killer playlist. Get the DJ with Musician accompaniment package!! “Soundwave DJ: All I have to say is the dance floor was packed all night long from start to finish. Packed. If thats what you want, use Soundwave! They had lights, a Photo Booth, 2 DJ’s. He provided mics for the ceremony. He would have provided ceremony music but we had a live string quartet and flute for the ceremony. He’s a musician himself so he understands the crowd and what’s necessary for keeping the party going! 10/10 recommend!”

I play the music you want to hear. I let my clients have as much control over the music as they want. “Bob was such an incredible DJ for our wedding! We purchased both the ceremony and reception package. Bob was very familiar with our wedding venue which helped us have a fantastic experience. Because of Bob, our ceremony went seamlessly. From the music, sound quality, transitions, and microphone set up Bob ensured a stress free experience. We got great feedback from our guests that they had no trouble hearing the officiant, reader, or bride and groom during vows. Overall, Bob was very accommodating and attentive to detail for all our needs and made sure to fully understand our unique preferences ahead of time. Bob did a great job introducing the wedding party, making sure to land everyone’s pronunciation as well! Bob also did a great job directing our guests throughout the night ensuring everything ran smoothly. His audio setup for our first dance on the outdoor terrace was incredible and truly created a magical experience. He was able to obtain our requested songs and made sure to prioritize our playlist during the dancing. Everyone had such a great time on the dance floor as we had a full dance floor from start to finish. He truly kept everyone dancing all night and was responsive to guests requests as well.
