“We booked Music on the Move for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our choice. “Chris was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. Communication before the wedding was spot on-he always responded to my emails, meetings were insanely easy to schedule, and I never once questioned whether I could rely on him. He was prompt, trustworthy, and just easy to work with. We had a live violinist for our ceremony who needed backing tracks, and Chris coordinated all of the audio directly with her. I honestly couldn't even tell you the logistics of how they worked it out because I didn't have to be involved, which was exactly what I wanted. Everything between the two of them was seamless. Cocktail hour and dinner music were perfect. He used our playlists, handled every announcement we threw at him, and our entrances and transitions were seamless. We had different songs for our parents, wedding party, and our entrance, followed by our first dance and parent dances, and he nailed all of it. The biggest accolade Chris deserves was our first dance. We wanted two different versions of the same song mixed together at a VERY specific point, and Chris literally mixed them live at exactly the time we requested. It was perfect. We were also very intentional about our dance music. We had a playlist and specifically told Chris that guests could not request additional songs unless they got approval from one of us first. He stuck to that and turned people away when they tried, which I appreciated SO much. He played the majority of our playlist and kept the vibe we wanted all night. There were a few songs we had intentionally added that didn't get played, so I individually requested them, which solved the problem in real-time. That's genuinely my only constructive feedback. He also knows when NOT to talk. He didn't over-emcee. He made announcements when we needed them and otherwise let the music speak for itself. We added the audio guestbook through him as well; it worked perfectly, and I believe we had all of the recordings back within 48 hours. Chris is an overall great guy. He stayed around after the wedding and talked with us for a bit, and after working with him throughout the entire planning process, I can confidently say he is someone I would trust with a wedding again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!”

To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. “We hired DJ El Sid from Fusion Function for our wedding, and we seriously couldn’t be happier with our decision! From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful, professional, and made the entire planning process so easy. His planning tools were a huge plus! Whether a wedding, private party, or your grandmother's 90th birthday, you can impress your guests with live chamber music. We have years of experience organizing wedding music, as well as music for other events. Choose from a large assortment of music: classical, pop, ragtime, or opera and showtune favorites. (String Quartet has the most varied selection.) We are happy to work with vocalists and church music directors. We have experience playing music for Catholic masses and other denominations as well.
