We opted out of engagement photos as my husband really doesn’t enjoy photo shoots, so our wedding day was actually the first time we met her, and she immediately made us feel completely at ease. She scouted beautiful locations and found the perfect lighting. We had a brunch wedding which poses a challenge for a photographer with harsh morning light, but Villa came prepared and used the soft reflections and cloudy skies to capture truly stunning images. Before the wedding day, Villa was exceptionally communicative and quick to respond to any questions. She helped create a photography timeline that ended up being invaluable, especially since we were working with a tight morning schedule for our 10:45 a.m. church ceremony. Admittedly I didn’t fully consider the early timelines when I first decided on a brunch reception. On the day of, Villa and her second photographer were phenomenal. She maintained a calm, peaceful presence and guided photos with a thoughtful, artistic approach. She arrived early, was fully prepared, and remained discreet throughout the ceremony. I did a lot of our wedding planning at the last minute and I have never had professional photos done so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but Darcy walked me through the wedding day and made sure that we had a clear plan. She was also very patient with all of my last minute changes to the schedule. I originally reached out to Darcy because I loved the style of her photos and I was incredibly pleased when I saw our photos. I would definitely reach out to her for future events/family photos!”

“We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!”

“My husband Will and I got married in October and we planned everything together. Hands down, the easiest and best decision we made (besides going through with the marriage ;-)) was picking Chris as our photographer. He was so easy to work with from the get go. We set up a brief meeting, shared our vision (we wanted a "photojournalist approach"), and mapped out a schedule of events. Anything that we did not think to ask, he made sure to bring up and help make our vision more complete. Chris was excellent at capturing all of the tiny moments of the night without being in anyone's way. The pictures that he captured were absolutely STUNNING--the perfect amount of sentimental moments captured in beautiful lighting and silly off the cuff moments that captured the essence of each and every guest. We would work again with Chris in a heartbeat and friends have already requested his contact information for their ceremony. As an added bonus, because we did not end up using Chris for all of the allotted time, he offered to do a separate photoshoot whenever we would like. It's those little attention to details and customer service which make Chris stand out from the rest. Overall, Chris was kind, professional, quick to edit and publish photos, and an amazing photographer. You would not do wrong by hiring him!”
