We are Mark & Brittany Edman, NJ based wedding team. Mark created “This Insane Idea” with the vision that anything is possible. As your lead shooter, he had a passion for photography his entire life, capturing moments around him in the most authentic ways until one day Brittany told him “go full time”, it was insane. He fell in love with wedding photography and the emotion it brought out for everyone involved. Coming home so happy with unique stories and photos from all over the state, Brittany knew she needed to join him on wedding days. Capture the North was founded by multi-award-winning, and published photographer Sarah K. Marshall, and her husband, Christopher Marshall. Both are Marine Corps veterans and native New Englanders. Despite traveling across the world while serving in the Marine Corps, there is still something so magical about the New England area for them. Sarah was named Department of Defense Military Photographer of the Year 2020, and Marine Corps Photographer of the Year 2020 + 2021. Her work has been displayed in the National Museum of the Marine Corps and her imagery was the cover art of Leatherneck Magazine.
