This Insane Idea Photography
We are Mark & Brittany Edman, NJ based wedding team. Mark created “This Insane Idea” with the vision that anything is possible. As your lead shooter, he had a passion for photography his entire life, capturing moments around him in the most authentic ways until one day Brittany told him “go full time”, it was insane. He fell in love with wedding photography and the emotion it brought out for everyone involved. Coming home so happy with unique stories and photos from all over the state, Brittany knew she needed to join him on wedding days. Having a background in hospitality for 20 years Brittany began coordinating the day alongside Mark.
We always joke around and say you can throw a rock and find a good photographer, but what makes us different is that in addition to amazing photos, is an equally great experience. We have an extreme familiarity with exceeding expectations helping plan your wedding from the day you say "I do" to This Insane Idea. We get to know you and your families and ensure everyone feels appreciated on your wedding day.

10/10 Would Recommend Over and Over Again!
We are about a month away from our wedding day and we cannot stop talking about how magical it all was! Mark, Brittany, and Tom were a dream to work with and were a big part in the day running smoothly. About a year prior to the wedding, we had our engagement session done by Mark and he makes you feel so at ease, especially since we had never had professional pictures taken of us like this. His documentary-style photography was exactly what we had been looking for. Throughout our year-long wedding planning process, this team was very professional, organized, and experienced. When it came to our wedding day, This Insane Idea was not even on our list of worries. They made sure we were comfortable and informed every step of the way. They were also very responsive. We had to make a game time decision to deal with potential spring showers and Brittany responded right away to help us decide on how to shift gears. On the day of, it was really important to us that we had some photographs of us outside and they worked with the small pockets of no rain to sneak us outside. They also had the experience to know how to expertly pivot to us taking photographs primarily inside and still capturing the sweet moments. They are first and foremost a photography company, but they have a deep knowledge of the wedding industry and took on roles outside of just photographing our day. They were not just our photographers, they were our sounding boards, our cheerleaders, our family wranglers. We cannot recommend them enough!

Amazing Team!!!
If you are looking for an incredible photography team here you go. From the moment we inquired Mark has been amazing. He worked with our budget, answered all my countless questions, and stayed in contact more than any other vendor. At our engagement session he immediately made us comfortable and made an effort to actually connect with us. I couldnt have asked for a better more involved coordinator. Brittany responded to all my questions with kindess and excitement. On our wedding day she kept everything moving, organized, and made sure we didn't miss any of the moments that were important to us. Tom was amazing as well and kept my husband calm and laughing on the morning of the wedding. This is a team that will support you and cherish your day just as much as you do. They will capture moments and memories in a way that is elegant and timeless. They felt like family and I would choose them everytime. When it comes to capturing your day, there is no other option.

An Amazing Experience
Of all the things we spent our money on for our wedding, using Mark and Brittany was BY FAR our best decision. Not only did they fly cross-country to shoot our wedding, they treated us like family and were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Their care and attention to detail was absolutely amazing and it never at any point felt like they were being pushy or overbearing while still managing to capture every single detail of our day and every single moment from prep to the final minutes of the reception. We've told anyone who will listen about how great Mark and Brittany were and will continue to do so. On top of all that, the actual final product exceeded every expectation we had and we're so exceedingly grateful for every beautiful image they captured that also painted such a vivid memory of the day.
