“Mary is truly a special gem in the photography world. She has a knack for getting people to relax, be themselves and really goes out of her way to make people feel comfortable in front of her lens.
We booked Mary for all day coverage on our wedding day, as well as engagement photos. All of her communication was clear and concise leading up to our shoot was much appreciated, and even though my partner and I ended up running late to our engagement photo location in downtown dallas (omg so much traffic), she managed to take such amazing photos of us. Had the finished edits quickly and was able to use them for save the dates!
Our wedding day arrived and Mary and her lovely second shooter Amanda were with us all day, documenting the getting ready and little detail shots. They were lovely to just hang out with and it never felt awkward posing or adjusting anything throughout the day. I loved getting to sneak off during cocktail hour to take portraits just the two of us, and that was after Mary wrangled my giant (50 people) extended family for various portraits. The rest of the evening is a blur, but I have the amazing photos from Mary to look back on, which I frequently do.
Our sneak peak was available within 24 hours, and our finished gallery, discs and even a few prints were ready just a few weeks after the wedding, along with a very sweet handwritten note. Mary really is the best photographer, and I'm probably not getting married again, but if I did, Mary would be the one behind the camera.”
