We are still in awe of the incredible experience we had at Tar Creek Ranch for our wedding! If you're dreaming of a rustic, barn-style wedding with elegance and charm, this is the place. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is a beautiful blend of rustic and romantic. The barn exudes character with its wooden beams, open space, and warm, inviting atmosphere. We loved how the space felt both intimate and expansive—perfect for creating the cozy, laid-back vibe we envisioned, while still providing room for all of our guests to dance the night away. The outdoor pavilion was also a wonderful space for our first dance and outdoor dining. The pavilion features a large tent with a clear top and sides, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful sunset while savoring their meal. In addition, the ranch house was a lovely space for my bridal party to stay and get ready for the day. The house offers amazing natural light and plenty of space for all of your guests. The team at Tar Creek Ranch made the entire planning process seamless. From the moment we toured the venue to the last dance of the night, the staff was incredibly supportive, professional, and detail-oriented. They helped us bring our vision to life, whether it was coordinating the timeline, offering decor ideas, or ensuring everything went off without a hitch. If you’re looking for someone professional, funny, personable, and skilled, Andy is your guy! Getting quotes for photographers can be very intimidating and stressful. When I first reached out to Andy, I had a feeling that he was going to be the perfect match for us (and his price options are reasonable and affordable!). He kept in contact during the months leading up to our wedding, answering all of my questions and sending a list of questions for us to answer. We ended up pre-choosing what family/group pictures were most important to us and providing names. Andy had that list with him at our wedding and stuck to it, keeping us on schedule, but was willing to take on-the-spot added groups, too. He captured all of the moments that mattered to me, from the first look to the first dance. He took beautiful wedding party photos, posed and candid. He was very professional and able to take family group shots while being swarmed by hummingbirds. He made us laugh and smile. Even better, we received a small set of photos 2 days later, and all of the photos within 2 weeks. 11/10 would recommend!!

I have been in the wedding industry for the last 13 years of my life working with venues & vendors and I am SO happy with how my wedding turned out at the Madonna Inn. Nicole was wonderful to work with and the banquet captain the night of, Cippi, was absolutely fantastic. This hotel & venue is the PERFECT location for anyone looking for a unique or vintage wedding day.

Patrick is amazing! He made everything so enjoyable and easy. He definitely kept things fun but still professional, both in first meeting him and on the day of the ceremony/during the ceremony. It was all super detailed to us as a couple. He's a really good dude inside and out. Very respectful too. We love this guy!

For our 140 person, somewhat diy wedding, this place worked really well. They were accommodating about all my questions and for additional set up time and there were no surprises when it came to pay. HOWEVER there are important things to note w this venue- first is that they decorate heavily for their xmas market starting just before thanksgiving. Second is that they can sometimes be a little all over the place with who to talk to which for us resulted in being double booked for our original Nov date- we paid our deposit, booked a dream photographer, and were about to send save-the-dates when they contacted me that they made a mistake. In the end, we got a very good date in Oct and they made it right thru discounts and paying me the difference of what id lost from the photographer not being able to make the new date. Third thing is i was under the impression when i booked that we would have a coordinator from the venue on the day-of and that is not the case. Many of the staff are helpful but there is not a designated person for running your day outside of the table/linen set up and f&b. Last thing- their office phone system is not great, i always struggled w extensions and had to have their front desk transfer me to their Special Events staff, its small but when youre stressed planning it got to me. Overall, i would recommend them to folks who like a little kitsch, a little cottagecore, and a mostly inclusive experience.

Monica helped plan and execute my October wedding in the Santa Ynez Valley and we could have been happier with the entire experience. She was our wedding coordinator starting about 6-8 weeks ahead of the wedding, although she started working with us a few months out to make sure we selected vendors and contracts with the right details in mind. She understood our vision and the vibe we wanted for the day and TOTALLY delivered. She also did our flowers, and they were stunning. Monica ensured the wedding setup and day of schedule went off without a hitch. She worked so hard the day before and day of - especially on the tablescapes, which I had told her I cared a lot about. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs wedding planning or wedding coordination.
