Old SLO BBQ was our wedding caterer on 4.14.22 and they were amazing from start to finish! We came into the restaurant for a wedding tasting and fell in love with the food and we knew we were in great hands with Kevin! He answered all of our questions and always responded to calls and emails quickly! The food turned out perfectly and Kevin & his team were so accommodating and went above and beyond on wedding day- even helping clear plates & cleaning up!! We requested left overs for my husband and I in our bridal suite because we had been warned bride and groom don’t get to each much at the wedding because of all the talking! When we got up to the room later there were 2 to-go boxes made for us and tons of leftovers!! We had sooo many compliments on the food and staff. What a great business and team! Thank you so much! Without a doubt, Hotel Cerro is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding. My fiancé and I decided to plan our wedding to coordinate with our anniversary month and didn’t take into consideration that it was…3 months away. Haha! However, Hotel Cerro and their event planning manager, Jessica, made the experience as stress free as possible. The ceremony space is located on their second floor terrace. You are welcomed by a lush wall of greenery and glass paneling that gives you a view of the beautiful fig trees on the first floor. Across the terrace, is a full length glass wall that opens into the dining area where we had our reception. The space is intimate and inviting with exposed brick walls and windows that look down onto Garsden St. When touring the venue, Jessica was warm, friendly and easy to talk to which instantly took away some the nerves of the planning process. She took the extra time to get a feel for what we wanted for our wedding and offered suggestions of what we could do with the space. The fact that we didn’t have anything planned and a short timeline didn’t seem to phase her at all! She made it obvious that although we didn’t have a lot of time, she was going to keep us on track and get everything planned with us in time. During the tour we saw that the hotel also has an upper level pool area, “Fig Veranda” and an edible garden which are all perfect areas to do wedding photos. Each area has a different feeling to it and it added variety to our photos without having to go all over town. Plus, we had so much fun running around the hotel with our photographer the day of! Throughout the planning process, Jessica was responsive and made sure to keep me updated on due dates and what the next steps were for the planning process. If I had any questions (and I had a lot haha!), she made sure to get me whatever answers I needed quickly and offered multiple options if there were any. Their preferred flower vendor delivered us beautiful arrangements and set them up before the wedding which allowed us to focus on getting ready. They also had our personal flowers delivered to our room and sent photos of the table set up as a “sneak peek”! We stayed at Hotel Cerro for the weekend of our wedding and was pleasantly surprised by how luxurious our loft room was. It had more than enough space for our friends to visit while we got ready and took us about 5 seconds to get to the ceremony area. The staff was very welcoming and seemed to be just as excited as we were that we were having our wedding there! The wedding day was everything that we could have dreamed of and more. The ceremony space was set up on time which allowed us to put out decorations, the floor plan and day of time line was followed exactly how we had planned and the reception dinner was delicious! The staff was also extremely friendly and attentive to everyone during the event. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Cerro if you’re looking for an intimate wedding venue. With the help of Jessica, the planning and execution of our wedding day went as smoothly as one could have hoped for and allowed us to truly enjoy our special day without additional worries!

We had Rich and Felicity as our hair stylists and Maddie as our makeup artist. These folks were amazing on the day, stayed on schedule and were able to deliver great looks with humid weather. My main reason for going 4 stars is the booking and communication ahead of time was a little sparse, it can be confusing to use the Bluebird form and I had to be the one to reach out to ask for stylist contacts ahead of time to discuss how the day would go. There also is not a lot of artist-specific portfolio work to reference on their site. I probably would have preferred to book direct with the artists if it was possible.

Sarah executed on our ideas and requests to create a wedding design that transformed the venue into a fairy tale setting. Higuera Ranch was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was quick, helpful, and easy. Kristin was so supportive and went above and beyond to make sure our special day was everything we dreamed of. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and well-kept, providing the ideal backdrop for our celebration. Having all of our friends and family stay on-site with us made the entire weekend that much more memorable and special. We couldn't have asked for a better venue - it was truly perfect in every way.

Her floral designs have graced the pages of the most renowned magazines today. Laura is a true gem in the world of floristry. With a passion for upscale and sophisticated designs, Laura has brought her expertise back to California, infusing every creation with a touch of elegance and artistry.

I commissioned Scarborough Affair as my floral vendor for my wedding in October and could not have been happier with my experience and the services provided. The bouquets, boutonnieres, flower girl crowns, corsages, table arrangements and trellis garlands were absolutely breathtaking and more beautiful than I could have hoped for or imagined. Not only did my husband and I love the floral designs, our family and friends did too, and our pictures turned out lovely. Selecting flowers for an event like a wedding can be overwhelming and stressful with so many options, but the owner, Laura, made the experience pleasant. She has a unique talent for helping you find the flowers and colors you love and bringing your vision to life in an elegant, artistic way. Laura thoughtfully listened to my ideas and color scheme, as well as budget and used her stylistic eye, knowledge/experience, and creativity to construct stunning and lovely smelling arrangements. On the day of the wedding, Scarborough Affair arrived punctually, set up efficiently in the limited venue set up time, meticulously inspected the arrangements (which were pristinely composed), and created a beautiful ambiance at the venue. On a side note, I was also impressed at how fresh the flowers were and how well they held up, as my wedding day happened during an extreme heatwave. I would definitely highly recommend using Scarborough Affair for a wedding or special occasion. I am truly grateful to SA for having my wedding flowers turn out so perfectly and helping make such a momentous day so special and memorable. Thank you!

Kullman Catering was a pleasure to work with for our wedding at the Kaleidoscope Inn and Gardens in Nipomo. Their communication was clear, concise, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. The quality of their work was simply delicious - they provided classic, crowd-pleasing dishes like tri-tip, mashed potatoes with garlic confit, and grilled vegetables. The goat cheese crostini our guests couldn't stop raving about! They were flexible in making changes to our order and went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. Fives across the board! Absolutely fell in love with Gage. Everything from his unique ability to capture a moment to his great personality. He made us feel like the only couple in the world. Gage made everything come to life. The big day seemed less stressful with him and his team there catching all the moments that mattered. Deciding whom to trust with the most important day of your life is stressful enough but make it easy on yourself and go with Gage! He’s out of this world and now apart of the family!
