Old SLO BBQ can provide a delicious meal for groups of all sizes, large and small. We offer three catering options: Pick up, Delivery, or On-Site Staffed. Our On-SIte Staffed option includes serving equipment, servers, buffet tables, and linens to feed your group of up to 300 people. Keep us in mind for your upcoming Birthday Party, Bridal Shower, Rehearsal Dinner, or Wedding!

    AMAZING!!

    They had very quick and clear responses through email. Very helpful from start to finish. Food was absolutely delicious, my guest loved it. We are so glad we went with them️

    Old SLO BBQ Co. has been a fantastic wedding caterer to work with. Their communication style is professional, specific, friendly, and supportive throughout the entire planning process. They are reliable, affordable, and delicious. They are always on time and handle all the dining details seamlessly, ensuring an even flow. Old SLO BBQ includes my staff as part of their team, which allows them to work together efficiently and get everything done in a timely manner. My staff loves working with them - they are fun to collaborate with and always share their amazing food!

    We loved having Old SLO BBQ Co. cater our wedding! Their communication throughout the planning process was amazing and very helpful in making decisions about the menu and logistics. The quality of the food and overall service was outstanding. The BBQ was extremely professional and delivered great quality dishes that our guests raved about. There was plenty of food for all with many going back for seconds. The brisket, ribs, and sides like the mac and cheese were big hits. We would highly recommend Old SLO BBQ Co. for any catering needs - they helped make our wedding day extremely memorable for us and our guests.

    Amazing food and great service

    Can’t say enough good things about Old SLO! They were so helpful from start to finish and the food was amazing. We got so many compliments including “this is the best food I’ve had at a wedding.” People loved that it is just good food. Nothing fussy or overly complicated but still good variety and just generally crowd pleasing! Thanks Kevin and team :)

    Highly Recommend!!

    We used Old SLO BBQ Co. to cater our wedding 4/16/22 and they did an AMAZING job! The food was absolutely delicious and we had so many compliments from everyone who attended. So many people went back for seconds as well! From the very beginning Kevin was great at communicating with us! We got to try some of the food ahead of time to make sure what we wanted, they came out to the venue to see the setup plan ahead of time, and were so extremely accommodating the day of! I can't say enough great things about Kevin and his whole crew! Thank you so much!!!

Yes, we offer complimentary tastings and consultations for wedding couples. Reach out to us to schedule a tasting soon!
Yes we do offer additional services like cake cutting, bartending services, water service, champagne pour, etc.
We can provide a list of local rental companies that are great to work with and are very successful. Alternatively, we can provide disposable plates, napkins, and utensils at no extra charge to you.
We can meet as many times as is necessary to iron out all the details for your big day. Commonly, we meet once for a tasting/consultation, and again for a site visit walk-through. Our goal is to make you as confident as possible heading into your big day and will talk as many times as it takes to capture your vision!
We serve most venues or private residences in SLO county. We do not provide catering services for locations outside of SLO county.
Yes, we do offer passed appetizers. We can even offer our passed appetizer style of service at no extra charge! Please see the catering menu on our website for our full list of Appetizer options.
Yes, we work with local, professional bartenders and can include that in our catering estimate of services. This usually saves you the time and money of finding a separate bartending company to work with.
No, we do not provide porcelain plates, silverware, or linens for events. We can recommend local event rental companies that can take care of this for you though! At no cost to you, we can provide heavy duty 10” disposable white paper plates, black plastic forks, knives, spoons, and white paper napkins for your event.
No, all of the items will be cooked at the restaurant by trained cooks under the controls of the restaurant and transported to your event hot in thermo-insulated catering boxes. This substantially reduces the cost to our clients by not having to charge them for additional equipment rentals and on-site cooks.
Yes, we can provide our signature strawberry lemonade (made from scratch), fresh brewed iced tea, and filtered water as well as fresh brewed coffee and condiments.
