Hi, I’m Kaila! I’m a PNW wedding and elopement photographer with nearly a decade of experience documenting intimate elopements, large celebrations, and destination weddings. My approach is for couples who value genuine moments over perfect poses. I blend documentary storytelling with thoughtful direction, creating warm, true to life images filled with connection and emotion. Along with digital photography, I offer 35mm film, digital Super 8, and wedding content creation. My goal is to preserve more than how your wedding looked. I want you to remember the people, atmosphere, emotion, and little moments that made it yours.

Nearly a decade of photographing weddings has taught me that beautiful photos are only part of the experience. I’ll be your posing guide, dress fluffer, golden hour chaser, and built in hype woman. I’ll offer direction when it’s needed and step back when it’s not, leaving room for genuine moments to unfold naturally. I know how to anticipate what’s coming, adapt when plans change, and keep things moving while giving you the space to actually enjoy your day. My priority is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and fully present while I preserve the moments that matter most.

    ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

    Kaila was so so wonderful to work with. She was really easy and prompt to get scheduled and even shuffled us around to a time that worked for us and the weather. We were so relaxed the whole session because of her demeanor. And to top it all off the photos turned out amazing! She even delivered the photos early. The whole experience was easy and wonderful.     AMAZING

    Kaila is an exceptional choice for a wedding photographer. (Or really whatever you’re looking to get, all of her work is phenomenal.) Her communication was clear, punctual, and professional throughout the entire process. The quality of her work was enchanting and authentic.     Best Choice for Our Wedding

    Kaila did amazing for our wedding photos! She captured the most beautiful, candid moments of us and our family and friends that we will cherish forever.     Amazing!

    Kaila was so professional from the start of booking the appointment. She kept in contact throughout the time of waiting for our date to arrive. When we went for pictures the time of day was perfect and was such a fun appointment. Pictures were so BEAUTIFUL and look so good on my wall!! Can’t wait to have pictures done again!

As soon as you have your date and venue booked, reach out! Most couples book 9–18 months in advance, though I occasionally have last-minute openings.
Yes! I offer packages with a second photographer, and you can add one to any package, including elopements, for extra coverage and angles.
My estimated turnaround time is 90 days, or roughly 12 weeks. I’m always happy to send a sneak peek gallery upon request so you can relive a few favorite moments while you wait.
Absolutely. Every final image is hand-edited for color, exposure, clarity, and style. I don’t deliver unedited images.
Your images will be delivered in a beautiful, easy-to-use online gallery where you can download, share, and order professional prints.
I’m from Spokane, Washington, and currently based in Eastern Washington. I love to travel and have photographed weddings everywhere from Arizona and San Diego to the Oregon Coast and Las Vegas. I also offer discounted travel for select destinations I’m eager to photograph, such as Hawaii, the Oregon Coast, the Pacific Northwest coast, Glacier National Park, and Sedona, so feel free to ask if your location qualifies.
To secure your date, I require a signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event, and I offer flexible payment plans if needed.
On average, you can expect 50–100 fully edited images per hour of coverage. The exact number depends on your timeline, events, and guest count.
Some of my favorite photos have been taken in less-than-perfect weather! I’m skilled at working in all conditions, and I always have a backup plan for portraits if needed.
Yes! I’ll guide you through natural, comfortable prompts so you never feel stiff or awkward. My goal is to help you look and feel like your best selves.
Absolutely. I’ve worked with many talented florists, planners, makeup artists, and more, and I’m happy to share my trusted vendor list.
Yes! Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day, and they’re available as part of a package or as an add-on.
Absolutely. I welcome and celebrate couples of all backgrounds, body types, shapes, colors, and love stories. I’m proud to be LGBTQ+ friendly and committed to creating a safe, affirming, and comfortable space for every couple I photograph.
