“My wife and I cannot rave enough about George Street Photo & Video! From the beginning until the end (and even after the wedding!), they've gone above and beyond for us! We ended up getting our Portrait Session & Wedding Day Photo and Video through them! The Wedding Coordinators did a great job sending us emails to give us reminders on our timeline (day-of schedule, getting in the books for portrait session, etc.) and getting back to us quickly if we had any questions. We are from Austin, TX but we got married up in Valley View (DFW area, almost near the TX/OK border) and George Street was super willing to make it work! We were able to get our portraits in Austin and get scheduled with a different group in the Dallas area (instead of being limited to only one city)! The photos themselves? Absolutely gorgeous! We loved each of the photographers we worked with! We even got some compliments from our guests and our wedding party about "how nice/fun the photographers are." They were super bubbly, friendly, kind, professional, and SO creative! And we loved each of their editing styles, it was exactly what we wanted! We have so many beautiful pictures that we were excited to show off & commemorate our special day :) We had friends ask us who we got our photos with, because we've received multiple compliments on how good they are! Same with our videographer! Super easy to work with -- and we know that we can't do any re-dos when it comes to wedding videos -- so we consider ourselves blessed that Chris had all of his bases covered to make sure we had all the video and audio :) And the wedding video edit was beautiful, it brought tears to our eyes :') One unique touch: my side of the family had a lot of Deaf friends and family members, and Chris and Sarath (and the other Chris!) did a great job being friendly and accommodating them. They weren't afraid to gesture and use 1-2-3 with their hands - that really meant a lot! “I 100% recommend using “Original Weddings” located in Texas. For 6 hours we payed well under 2,000 for light and airy style with others to choose from. Our photographer was so nice and friendly and helped us make our day comfortable. She was more than a photographer. We opted for our editing to take 4-12 weeks and at the 4 week mark we got our photos. Over 500 breathtaking photos were sent to us in our easy to use client portal. We can also send a guest link to our family members so they can download or print the photos they are in. Everyone was so helpful and the customer service from everyone we were in contact with was very impressive! Highly recommending to our friends as well.”

“The process of finding a wedding photographer and videographer, as any Bride knows, can be extremely stressful. We took quite a few meetings before we sat down with Hanel for our first video call. From the start, I stressed to him that as an interracial couple, it was extremely important to us that every single person, regardless of their skin color, be captured well in the photos and videos with lighting that worked for them. Hanel assured us that the team would be able to accomplish this and even sent us a gallery for reference, which ultimately helped us make our decision. When we received our photos, we were thrilled to see this goal was met and exceeded. Every photo, every person, every moment was beautifully and thoughtfully captured. We had the opportunity to do an engagement shoot with Mike before our wedding which was wonderful. We both felt a little uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Mike knew exactly what to say to capture those intimate moments. He made the experience feel natural when it was anything but! On our wedding day, we had the same fantastic experience. Mike and his team knew exactly what to do and they helped guide the way. They showed up and got right to work on detail shots and set up the room to look amazing for our getting ready shots. The photography assistant did the same for the men where they were getting ready. As a wedding singer myself, I have seen far too many photographers insert themselves into intimate ceremony moments. Mike and his team were extremely respectful at the Church, yet still able to capture the important moments! We got married on an extremely cold November day, right after daylight savings time so we didn’t have a ton of time between the ceremony and reception to capture daylight photos since we decided not to do a first look. Once again, Mike and the team worked efficiently to get all the appropriate photos and even got some stunning Fall foliage pictures. They were very good at scoping out the locations for beautiful backdrops which we see in all of our wedding gallery photos. They got amazing outside evening photos at Westbury Manor as well, even though it was so dark by the time we got there. When I was stressed towards the end of the night that we might not capture every planned moment (my husband and I sang an opera duet at the wedding reception on top of everything else!) they worked with the DJ to make sure everything flowed and all moments were captured and we did not feel rushed. Overall, the team was wonderful. They knew exactly what to do to make sure every moment was captured beautifully and everyone looked amazing! I cannot recommend Duet Photo and Video enough. We will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives!”

“When we were planning our elopement style wedding day, we were certain we wanted to hire a photographer. However, we were overwhelmed with the confusing packages and high costs until we found Matthew Chambers photography. We highly recommend hiring him for a no-fuss, easy experience. This was our first time hiring a photographer. We liked his simple 3 tiers of service (raw only, partial-service, or full service) and that he charges hourly based on service. The business model just made sense and fit our modest wedding budget. His common-sense pricing made professionally capturing our day accessible. We also liked that he is locally based in Leander and that he has a broad portfolio in case we wanted to re-hire him for future milestones/events. Most of our communication was done electronically via Zola or texting. With our busy schedules, this was preferred to make arrangements. So we met Matthew for the first time on our wedding day! Matthew was delightfully conversational and chatty which made relaxing easier. We loved the mixture of capturing moments “as is” and having him coach us through staged photos. He was very patient with our poor choreography skills. We had more fun with the posed photos than anticipated! Matthew was early to shoot and had a faster than promised turn around on photos. Less than 24 hours for access to raw photos and about 10 days for initially edited photos. While I say this, please note that we had a smaller project and turn around times can vary. The one thing we would do differently is length of booking. My husband and I were CERTAIN 2 hours would be more than enough for our simple nature elopement, but we probably could have booked 3 hours. We got all the shots we agreed upon (and more!), but it was more fun than expected. “The moment” truly goes by quicker than expected. So if you’re unsure, go ahead and book the extra time & savor the moment. Note: we found Matthew via Zola. My bestie recommended that I make a wedding site even though we were eloping. I’m glad I listened! One of the best things out of doing this was the “vendor locator” service on Zola. It connected us to photographers interested in working with us and got us directly messaging them. I read Matthew’s website and just instantly liked him and his work. Thankful he was available for our day! **attached is a sample of a raw vs edited from our day!”
