Hitched in Maui

Lexi was absolutely incredible. My husband and I are from Colorado, but we decided to have a very small ceremony on the beach in Maui, with our immediate family. Planning a wedding from so far away is not easy. Lexi walked us through every step, whether it was deciding which beach to use as our ceremony site, figuring out what type of officiant we needed, or even offering restaurant recommendations to go after our ceremony- she had knowledge and helpful insight for literally everything. She made it feel like we weren’t 3000 miles away. Lexi was very easy to communicate with, and answered all our questions. She also offers a portal that is super easy to navigate. On our special day, she brought a steady presence. She helped us feel confident and gave us the freedom to experience all the joy that comes with such a celebration. We got our sneak peak photos already and we are in love! She captured every special moment. Her creative eye and attention to detail is unmatched. We can’t recommend her enough to anyone that wants to get Hitched in Maui!

As a wedding officiant, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many talented photographers over the years, and I can honestly say that Lexi McGhee is one of the best on Maui all around. If there were more stars to give, I would give them. Lexi is a one stop shop for all of your wedding and elopement needs in Maui. She seamlessly coordinated with myself, my makeup artist, Bridal by Jen (Jen Castelo), our videographer (Christopher Bramley), our florist , The Floralette, and our officiant, Cassidy Marcinko. She was incredibly responsive, which is very reassuring when working with someone a few thousand miles away. She talked me through my indecisive vision and an unexpected venue change. On the day of our elopement, she was so supportive and encouraging as both my husband and I are incredibly uncomfortable and awkward in front of a camera. On top of all of this her turn around time was incredibly quick and we are absolutely obsessed with our photos. If I had one note, it would be that she undersells herself as “Lexi McGhee - Photographer.” I think that “Lexi McGhee - Wedding and Elopement Superwoman” would be more appropriate.

I can’t stress how wonderful working with Lexi for our private elopement was. She kept us on track throughout the entire process up until the day of. Not only did her organization make it seamless, but she went above in beyond in recommending restaurants, locations, and day of logistics. We’re both not naturally comfortable in front of a camera, and she did a flawless job capturing our joy through her poses and cues. We had the best wedding day and have the best pictures to remember it by. Lexi is absolutely phenomenal and so kind!

10 stars!!! Lexi did a FANTASTIC job with officiating the ceremony and capturing beautiful photos! She’s also very organized, professional and friendly! Since the moment we booked her, she has communicated effectively every detail. She was so helpful with creating a timeline and suggesting venue options which made everything a breeze! My wedding guests also raved about Lexi and asked how I found her. I’m truly grateful we found her! I highly recommend Lexi if you’re looking for someone who does it all!
