“The Secret Garden At Rancho Santa Fe was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! This venue came with the best team and I would 10000% recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless experience and beautiful wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the team was responsive, quick, and clear in their communication, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. Kendra did our initial tour and did a great job laying everything out on the table so there wouldn’t be any surprises. We could not believe everything that was included and the value- but it truly is an all inclusive experience. Mary was great with communication and answered all of my questions (even the really silly ones). On the day of, the quality of their work was truly amazing - they executed my vision perfectly, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Tammy, Ellen, and Brian who were our incredible photo/video team, went above and beyond to make us feel at ease and ensure we had a fun, memorable experience. Last but certainly not least - Laura was our coordinator and she was absolutely EPIC. She played such a huge role throughout the process and relieved so much of my stress through multiple meetings and emails. She made sure everything was perfect the day of, kept me calm (which is not easy to do) and was an absolute gem. She is truly one of a kind and the absolute best - I could not have asked for a better coordinator. We are so grateful to the entire team for helping make our special day perfect (and EPIC) in every way. It truly was the dream team and a dream wedding - thank you epic events for everything!”

“We had such an amazing time and are so happy that wedgewood was a part of our special day. It was everything we envisioned and more! Petr went above and beyond for us, from coordinating with my family members, our musicians, to fixing my dress and veil prior to walking down the isle, Brynn was there every step of the way from opening the doors during the ceremony , gathering all the items lost and found and coordinating with the burrito vendors for late night bites. (: Our bartender!!!- I forgot his name but there was NEVER a line at the bar!! Shots were always ready and not once did he bat an eye! We love you guys so much. 100% would do it again!! Literally the BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES. We are so glad we chose headquarters- I was stressed, but after the rehearsal - I felt so grounded and ready to marry the love of my life. We really appreciate all your help. Thanks again!! 10/10!!! Tbh, the other Wedgewood venues have NOTHING on the headquarters!! When we got to visit the presidio venue- we loved the location, but not the venue. - at that moment we knew we chose the right venue. Headquarters is the best location, most convenient for guests with limited mobility and that’s #1 reason we chose headquarters. - my grandma who is 92, grandpa Bennie 90 and cousin Don-Don who is wheelchair bound with down syndrome were all comfortable and safe. I was also amazed by how the outside cocktail area transformed from when we initially toured the venue, we spend a lot of time in nature, some days I was regretting we didn’t have a nature based outdoor wedding (we also didn’t want to worry about the possibility of the weather afffecting our guest experience- it was raining when we toured headquarters), but I was pleased to be able to get fresh air and still have the same vibe outside. Trying to think if there could have been anything that could have done differently..maybe clearing the bridal suite after cocktail hour of the food/drinks?! I was a bit nauseated from the smell of the tuna that was left out, but as soon as we asked the staff - it was cleared and bussed right away. The lobo lighting was so underwhelming, but that was the band and not you guys (they did the right thing and focused on the music vs centering the light - as they should- they killed ittt) Of course everything can’t be perfect, but it was imperfectly perfect!!! Ohhh also we would have liked to know about the jail cells and exhibit so we could let our guests know to check it out! But we saw it in our own walking around! Two days after the wedding! Soo cool!! Thank you thank you thank you! Love always, Mr. & Mrs. E”

Throughout the planning process, Shannon was incredibly helpful. She was always willing to answer any question and work us through any problems that came up. We had a last-minute cancellation with our wedding coordinator, and Shannon and the Sacred Mountain team stepped in without missing a beat. They kept things running smoothly all weekend, especially on the wedding day itself. The property is stunning, and everyone there was kind and accommodating. They made sure we had what we needed while still letting us use the space in a way that felt personal and comfortable, like it was truly our own. It's a dream venue! Oakwood Creek was built in the 1930s by WW Wood and his wife Leanora. Wood drove a truck that hauled dairy milk from the outlying ranches into the town of Julian. We have one of the last intact water towers in the historic district. The property has been preserved to reflect the period in which it was built. This beautiful venue sits atop a picturesque knoll overlooking the historic town of Julian. Sherry Horton, owner of Oakwood Creek Celebrations, offers signature style that everyone—no matter their affair—will find "oh so easy". Growing up in rural Ohio, Sherry brings the style of country that is reminiscent of simpler gracious time, learning from her grandmother Emma Barrett of all things romantically beautiful. Sherry’s work has been featured in Country Living Magazine, Where Women Create, and San Diego Magazine.

Not only is it this gorgeous hidden gem, but it has a wonderful owner who makes you feel like your day is the most important day of her life as well. Our wedding went seamless and perfect and we’re still hearing our guests go on and on about how breathtaking the venue was. Sherry was amazing and always super fast to answer no matter the time or day. She was so accommodating and always made every visit fun. September was the perfect time, all the greenery was so lush! This is the kind of venue where for decor, LESS IS MORE. This place IS THE DECOR. Highly recommend this place!!”
