    Gorgeous Greenery

    Serene Oaks Venues is a perfect fit for your wedding day! Tim responded to every question and concern we had with speed and helpfulness, making the planning process so smooth. He truly makes an effort to understand your vision and works to bring it to life exactly as imagined. The venue itself is gorgeous, with sprawling grounds and lush greenery that created the most beautiful backdrop for photos. If you have a vision for an outdoorsy celebration, this is absolutely the place. Couldn't ask for a better experience from start to finish.

    Serene Oaks is very beautiful, and has lots of space! We definitely needed something like this in Punta Gorda! :)

A licensed and insured caterer and bartender must be provided. You may supply your own alcohol, but no kegs are allowed, and no shots may be poured. You may provide your own food and drinks while you are setting up and getting ready, but all alcohol must be removed prior to the start of the ceremony. If you do not have a licensed caterer or bartender, then please let us know so we can assist you in finding one.
We have a list of approved caterers, bartenders and wedding coordinators that you must select from. For other vendors, we do not have a specific list, but anyone providing services on our property must be licensed and insured. They must sign a Vendor Contract and provide proof of insurance at least two weeks before the wedding takes place. If you are already working with a professional wedding planner that is not on our list, please let us know prior to signing your contract/s here.
Nothing may be attached to any surface using nails, staples, tape, glue, or any other means. Candles are allowed, as long as the flame is in an enclosed container. Confetti and glitter are not allowed to be used anywhere on the property. Any rose petals used outdoors must be fresh, not artificial.
Yes, a minimum $1,000,000 event insurance policy is required. We can provide recommendations for purchasing this coverage, or you may speak with your insurance agent.
We must have your final floor plan, vendor list, and proof of insurance at our final walk-through, at least two weeks prior to the wedding. Final walk throughs are typically held 30 days prior to the wedding.
Yes, electrical power can be available at all ceremony sites.
Yes, you may schedule a one-hour time period for your rehearsal the day before the wedding. If there is another wedding being held that day, rehearsals may be scheduled at 9:00 am or 10:00 am, and must be completed by 11:00 am. Your wedding coordinator will direct the rehearsal in conjunction with your officiant.
Amplified music, such as DJs or bands are typically discouraged. If your reception includes acoustic music, or other non-amplified entertainment, we can discuss options with you to set up in the reception tent. Amplified music may be used at lower volumes for the wedding ceremony or during reception interims.
There are signs posted in the parking lot stating that there is no overnight parking. We don’t mind cars being left, but our gate is locked after hours. Depending on our event schedule, the gate may be locked until Monday.
