As the largest natural and cultural history museum on Florida's Gulf Coast, The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature offers engaging exhibits as well as educational programs that interpret the scientific and cultural knowledge of Florida, the world, and our universe. In addition to permanent exhibits, the Museum features a constantly changing lineup of temporary exhibitions — offering something new to discover with each visit!

The courtyard shares a glass wall with the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat, viewable from the Jeannie Kirkpatrick Boardroom, perfect for wedding preparations.

    Best Day Ever!

    We had such an amazing experience at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature—especially in the courtyard space, which was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding day. A huge part of what made everything so seamless was Farrah. She was incredibly personable, sweet, and just so easy to work with throughout the entire process. She made us feel comfortable from the start and was always so helpful and accommodating. One thing that made a big difference for us was being able to drop off our personal décor ahead of time—it took so much stress off our plate and allowed us to truly be present and enjoy every moment of the day. Everything Farrah was in charge of ran so smoothly, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing we were in such good hands. She balanced being organized and on top of every detail while still feeling warm and approachable, which meant so much to us. We are so grateful to have had our wedding here and couldn’t recommend this venue more
