About this venue

Our beautiful botanical park set in natural surroundings is the perfect place to host your next event. Whether you are planning a small garden wedding, a grand night under the stars, or need a flexible option of both an inside and outdoor affair, we have the venue for you. The Galleria and attached deck can seat up to 160 people; however, we can accommodate up to 250 utilizing the outdoor spaces. We are a self-serve facility offering our raw space and buildings. We have tables and chairs for use, but we do not provide any packages. You are responsible for securing all of your own vendors.

The Galleria Building is the main building available for weddings and other special occasions. With a wedding rental you have complete access to the Galleria building, the grand lawn behind the Galleria, the palm area with gazebo, the Baden Building for the Brides Room, and the screened Pavilion.

    Wonderful Option

    Palma Sola Botanical Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, Jenny was wonderful to work with - she was quick to respond to all our questions and made the planning process a breeze. The park itself is absolutely beautiful, providing a lovely natural backdrop for our celebration. We were thrilled with the value we received, as the rental fee was very reasonable considering the stunning setting. Jenny was also so generous, going above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to host our special day.

    Feb Wedding

    Palma Sola Botanical Park was very helpful and communicative with me during the planning process. It is an absolutely beautiful park with enough space to do whatever you want. A complete blank nature canvas. The low cost of the venue allowed for my budget to stretch for other things that really made the day special.

    Cannot recommend this venue highly enough

    I am so incredibly thrilled we decided to have our wedding at Palma Sola Botanical Park. From the first time we visited, we got such a good vibe from them. The park is absolutely beautiful, well-maintained and incredibly quiet. This location is DIY, which means you get the flexibility to pull together the event YOU want and they provide all of the information, answers and support you'd need along the way. For the price and beautiful location, it's definitely tough to beat. We're soooo happy with how the day turned out!

80 guests, by law, are allowed in the building at any given time with another 80 seated on the porch, which is partially covered.
Free parking is available in the front parking lot, along the street (17th Ave. NW and 99th St. NW) and additional parking is available behind the Baden Building. Please speak with our on-site manager if you need assistance with parking on the day of your event.
With the wedding rental, included is use of the Galleria building, The Baden building (Bride's room), and the pavilion as well as the lawn areas within the park.
Handicap parking spaces are to the right of the Galleria Building. The ramp to the Galleria and Baden Buildings is located by the office entrance. The public restrooms and drinking fountains are also handicap accessible and are located behind the Pavilion.
Yes, you may use any caterer or furnish your own food and drink. We do not require you to use any caterers from a list. We also do not provide catering services or bar services.
You may serve alcohol but must adhere to all US state and local laws, including the law that prohibits the serving of alcohol to minors. The Lessee will be responsible for ensuring these rules are followed.
The Park has assorted tables and chairs to seat approximately 100 guests. These are available at no charge. Linens and table service must be supplied by renter or obtained from a rental company. All rental items must be removed from the premises no later than midnight.
You may enter the building at 8am on the day of your event. All items must be cleared from the property by midnight.
No smoking is allowed in the buildings. Smoking is allowed on the porches and grounds. Guests are urged to use the ash receptacles for the disposal of smoking materials. Please, no butts on the porches or grounds!
The park is open from 8am until dusk every day.
Dogs are welcome if they are leashed and if each owner picks up after their pet.
No. It is the responsibility of the client to contact Mosquito Control at 941-722-3720 at least 2 weeks prior to your event, or talk with a private exterminator.
Yes. We require a security deposit upon reservation of your date. As long as all rules have been followed and no damage has occured, the security deposit will be refunded within the first two weeks following the conclusion of your event.
No, we don't. Our fees our based on the month and day of the week. Our peak wedding season runs October-May, with Saturday dates being our most sought after. Dates within those times are higher. We also do not offer discounts for smaller wedding sizes.
No. With our rental you are renting the raw space. We have tables and chairs for 100 people however we do not provide linens or anything else. You will be required to provide your own vendors or caterers. We do not require you to use specific vendors so that you can work within your budget.
