Stress Free Wedding Day
From the start, I had a very specific vision for my wedding day that I planned myself. I was a DIY decor bride, with particular taste. Throughout the wedding planning process, I realized that on the day of my wedding trying to navigate having a separate ceremony and reception location, there was no way I was going to be able to do it all myself. I met with many Massachusetts wedding planners and day of coordinators and absolutely no one is as dedicated to their couples as Shelby. From the time we hired Shelby for “month of” planning support, she was our biggest cheerleader and accountability partner. Shelby never thought we were “too much” and went out of her way to ask detailed questions about what our vision for our big day was. There is no job the day of the wedding that Shelby can’t handle. Because of Shelby, all my vendors had a detailed timeline of what to expect day of and what I wanted from them. When I tell you I didn’t have to make a single phone call or write a single email to a vendor, I mean NOBODY called me to ask questions the week of the wedding. This is because Shelby handles everything and follows up with everyone on your behalf before they could call you. All my vendors loved working with Shelby and appreciated her professionalism and thoroughness. On the day of the wedding, Shelby executed every single piece of my wedding better than I could have imagined. She took care to display everything beautifully, and I received so many compliments about how all the little details came together. Shelby constantly checked in with me to make sure I had anything I needed. My day was completely stress free due to Shelby. At the end of the night, everything was already packed up for me and placed in the designated areas. My husband and I both were hesitant to hire a wedding planner, especially because we had already planned so much of the wedding on my own. However, after the wedding day we both reflected that hiring Shelby was the best money we spent on our wedding day. We cannot endorse Shelby’s services enough! If you want a stress free wedding where you don’t have to lift a finger, hire Wedding by Weir.

My daughter's wedding was a beautiful wedding thanks to the great and hard work of Shelby. The live music made the ceremony and the wedding extra special. She was very professional from the beginning of the planning until the wedding day. Planning the wedding for my daughter help her and the family enjoy the process and the wedding day. I never knew how hard a wedding planner works. We highly recommend Shelby!

Shelby is amazing!
Wedding by Weir: Wedding Planning was a pleasure to work with. I'm a photographer and she was so easy too coordinate with. Her eye for detail ensured that every aspect is executed flawlessly. Shelby is amazing!
Shelby Weir…what can I say about Shelby Weir that will make people understand how truly amazing she is at her job? It’s probably not possible but I will try. I put a lot of thought into this review because she put so much thought into my wedding and the planning of it. We were actually fortunate enough to win Shelby’s services at a bridal expo. We thought we were just getting a day of coordinator but Shelby helped us with the entire process from A-Z and was never anything but pleasant, graceful, efficient, organized, committed, and fierce. I have a really demanding job and would go from times where I couldn’t respond to things for days at a time or would send her frantic messages at 2 am, and no matter how difficult I was, Shelby always replied quickly and gave the best advice. We live in a day and age where a quick response to texts and emails is so appreciated and helpful and she never failed to help my new husband and I calm down and give the best advice in a timely and efficient manner. She made the experience very personal and friendly as well. Shelby came to our home twice to discuss the wedding with us and on the last visit, she brought several supplies over to help us with the ceremony and reception. She has several vendors that she’s very friendly with and always knew what vendors charged less and what vendors we might want to avoid. As an example, she found us a very well-priced equipment rental company that ended up playing a huge part in our wedding and we were going to be paying quite a bit more for the other company we had in mind. Our venue actually didn’t even know about that company and our venue was a large and well-connected venue, so Shelby really is a force to be reckoned with. Now let’s talk about the day of and the rehearsal. At the rehearsal, we had about 35 people there. And I’ll be honest…some of the people we had there were not the best behaved and are not familiar with formal events. But Shelby kept her cool and stayed very organized and professional while we were in the hot Florida sun. She answered all of our questions quickly and everyone else’s as well. Shelby’s memory is truly astounding. She knew what time we had to get to various places, like when the groomsmen needed to arrive for photographs, anytime I’d ask her or someone else would ask her. On the day of I really can’t say enough about how much she did. Truly. She came early, set up, coordinated with all vendors, helped with cleanup, helped with my dress, and so many other things. I think what I was the most impressed about was her crisis management. I had someone in the wedding party not behave prior to the ceremony and it affected the entire wedding. And I mean every part of it. But Shelby calmly helped my mom rearrange the ceremony and coordinated with the DJ as necessary. Not only that, but I did notice a lot of my family and friends were difficult to round up during the reception for photographs. There was about 150 people there and she did it with so much patience. I think if I had to summarize Shelby in one word it would be a rock. Because she was my rock before, during and after the wedding. And the true kicker here? Shelby was pregnant the last few months of our wedding planning process! It takes a very strong woman to hold down a full-time job, build another business, and carry a child. We love you Shelby!
