Hello nearlyweds! I'm Margarita, yes just like the tasty tropical drink. :) I love weddings and I always have. I have cried at all the ones I have attended, and my friends tease me because I will ask anyone who has me over to show me their wedding album! I have spent the past few years working for Wedgewood Weddings and learning everything there is to know about weddings and events. I have helped plan over 200 weddings and personally coordinated more than 120 weddings with guest counts ranging from 20-250+. Prior to that I worked in tech account management, which gave me the experience to provide you with top tier customer service.

I excel in written and verbal communication, and I'm always on top of the details. When I say I will get you something, you can be certain there will be follow through. My pro wedding tip is to have an activity for your guests instead of spending money on favors that get left behind (unless they're edible!). Recent favorite activities have been hiring an artist to do watercolor portraits of guests, a fortune teller that read palms, and a cigar rolling station! I would love to work with you to bring your wedding vision to life and take care of all the details for you, so you can feel like a guest at your own wedding. Let's get started!

Description

Package includes everything in the Day-of coordination package plus vendor communication in the months leading up to the event and creation of a custom floor plan. Service starts 60 days out. 90 day package also available starting at $3,000.

We start with an in-depth call to discuss the details of your wedding. Then I will review all of your vendor contracts and create a custom Wedding Day Timeline that serves as the playbook for your event. I share it with your vendors before the wedding and manage them day-of. Package also includes virtual check-ins, a venue walkthrough, rehearsal management, and up to 10 hours of in-person support day-of. Service starts 21 days out.

    The BEST Wedding Planner!!

    It is honestly hard to put into words just how incredible Margarita is. From the very beginning, her professionalism, knowledge, kindness and genuine care gave us complete confidence that our wedding was in the best possible hands. Looking back on the day, it is clear that she was truly instrumental to its success. Quite simply, our wedding would not have been possible without her! One of the greatest gifts she gave us was the ability to be fully present. While there were undoubtedly countless details, questions, timelines and moving pieces happening behind the scenes, we never had to worry about any of them because we knew she had everything under control. That peace of mind allowed us to soak in every moment, celebrate with our family and friends and focus on what mattered most. When our seating chart blew over in the wind and completely fell apart, she told us not to worry and went to work — it looked like nothing ever happened to it! Her impact extended far beyond logistics. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful she was, and we could not agree more. She brought such warmth, calm and positivity to every interaction, and it was clear how deeply she cared about making the day special for everyone involved. As we look back, we are filled with gratitude for the role she played in creating one of the most meaningful days of our lives. The day felt so seamless and so much of that is because of Margarita. We will never forget her guidance, support and countless efforts that made everything come together so beautifully. We feel incredibly lucky that we had the opportunity to work with her and cannot imagine our wedding day without her! Hiring Margarita was the BEST decision!

    Coordinator services

    We went into wedding planning not entirely sure we needed a coordinator (my husband and I are both meticulous planners), but, looking back, I honestly don’t think we could have pulled it off without Margarita. From the start, she provided exactly the right level of support. She communicated with vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding, when we were absolutely too busy to do so effectively ourselves. She answered our questions and stepped in where we needed guidance. On the wedding day, she kept us on schedule, handled last-minute changes, and provided emergency supplies like safety pins and even a cake cutter when needed. Having Margarita there allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the day. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience that made our wedding day flow seamlessly. We highly recommend her services.

    We found Margarita through Mostest. Our wedding was in San Francisco and not local to us (we are from Southern California), but we knew we needed a month-of coordinator to help us with the wedding logistics, even though we did the bulk of the planning. I was stressing out for months, making sure everything was booked and in order, until Margarita started working with us. We started a couple of weeks earlier than the typical four weeks included with the month-of coordination, but from the moment we met virtually, she put everything at ease. Her calmness rubbed off on me, and she was great in communicating not only with us but with our vendors as well. My photographer, HMUA, DJ, photo booth, and reception venue all told my husband and me how great she was, even before the wedding happened! I've never met anyone as organized as her! She curated the timeline and brought to our attention things we missed/didn't think of in our planning before she came along. On the wedding day, 99% of the day went as planned. That 1% was so minor and out of anyone's control, so we didn't sweat it. I was able to enjoy and be present on my wedding day with my husband and our guests, which is a huge accomplishment since I'm a control freak. I fully trusted Margarita, and she exceeded our expectations. I honestly believe I'm lucky in finding her, because I don't know many brides or grooms who actually had fun on their wedding day. My wedding day is actually the best day of my life because it went so smoothly and we had so much fun. Our guests even said so themselves. She even printed a photo of us at our ceremony, printed it in time for dinner, and placed it on our sweetheart table. I cannot sing her praises enough. She's the absolute greatest!! Special shout-out to our half-day coordinator, Celly, who has worked with Margarita for years. Celly helped with decorating the restaurant for our reception and made our vision come to life. They are the greatest duo!

    Loved working with Margarita!

    Margarita was a pleasure to work with for a 50th birthday party she helped me coordinate! She was proactive, kind, and thoughtful throughout the planning process. She was also incredibly organized, and prompt, making my life so much easier on the day of the event. She stayed on top of the event timeline and thought of questions I hadn't considered yet that made a real difference to the special day. When we had a lot of vendors arriving at the same time, it was so helpful for her to be there to direct where everyone should go and where they could place their personal items.
