Photography is deeply embedded in my past. Over 30 years ago, my family and I came to the United States from the former Soviet Union, where my grandfather had been a professional portrait photographer for over 50 years. I bring positive energy, and connect with and delight your guests and vendors. I have photographed in destinations as distant as India, Paris, London, Aspen, Mexico, New York, Los Angeles, North Carolina, even a wedding on a cruise ship! But, San Francisco is the city I know like the back of my hand – a city that I believe is the best photo studio in the world. I am an expert San Francisco City Hall wedding photographer.

My images stand out for their color, contrast, emotion and playfulness. My style is flexible to suit the needs of your day. Sometimes I need to be a photojournalist. Sometimes I need to direct, organize and create. I use a lot of lighting to shape my editorial images. I remember everybody's names. I make your guests laugh. I pride myself on my physical fitness, which allows me to bring 100% of my energy to cover many miles on your wedding day. I specialize in multicultural and same-sex weddings.

    Sasha is wonderful to work with and a creative genius when it came to capturing our special day. He knew how to work all the right angles and find the perfect lighting. The weather rapidly changed the day we were shooting so we had to suddenly switch locations. Sasha was extremely patient and quick to find a new location in San Francisco. He was able to beautifully capture our love for one another in the city where we were first met. Our photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Trusting him throughout the process and letting him work his magic with his creative energy was fun and we were blown away by the results. Highly recommend Sasha and look forward to working with him again!

    I have worked with Sasha many times over the years. His work is beautiful and creative. Plus he is so great a forming a bond with his clients. As an officiant I have worked with hundreds of photographers. Sasha stands out as he is never intrusive during the ceremony. He is respectful of the sacredness of the moment. I so much appreciate that quality.

    Sasha is an excellent, exceptional, outstanding photographer. He is also very professional. When I was researching photographers for our wedding, Sasha took the time to explain what he would do and how he would do it. He explained the difference between his packages so we could make an educated decision. He has done everything he said he would even with a 2 year delay because of Covid. At all 3 photo shoots Sasha put us at ease, was funny, and wonderful to work with. At our 2 events, Sasha was not intrusive and took all the pictures we requested, plus many, many more based on the event, environment, and setting. The final pictures are vibrant, beautiful and a wonderful reminder of our fabulous wedding and celebration! I highly recommend Sasha. You will not be disappointed.
