Valerie did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we couldn’t have been happier to work with her! From the beginning, she really took the time to understand the vision and vibe we wanted for our engagement photos. She helped us choose locations that fit what we were looking for and even worked with the locations to get everything scheduled. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and the whole experience was genuinely so much fun. Our wedding day was just as wonderful. Everything went so smoothly, and it never felt like we were doing a photoshoot. It truly felt like Valerie was just there capturing our day as it naturally happened, which is exactly what we wanted. She was incredibly responsive, professional, and so easy to work with throughout the entire process. And the albums we received are absolutely exceptional. I love them so much and will treasure them forever. We feel so lucky that Valerie was available for our wedding day, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

As a guy, I'm not always the best at getting my photo taken, but Valerie made it so easy! Valerie is flexible, and wants to capture photos in the style and vibe that YOU want. We wanted our images to be easy going and fun, and Valerie delivered. If you take yourself seriously and want to blue steel your photos, I'm sure Valerie would be great at that as well.

For our smaller restaurant wedding, Valerie was incredible - from timeline prep to focusing the dogs to capturing the vibes at dinner. Even delivering incredible and quick sneak peek photos. Absolutely in love with our photos, we couldn’t be more happy with how they turned out. Best money spent!

We cannot recommend Valerie enough for anyone getting married in the Wisconsin area! From our very first conversation with her, she was warm, responsive, and clearly passionate about her craft. Her documentary-style approach was exactly what we were looking for. It felt so natural throughout the day, never posed or forced, and the results were beautifully organic and I could not be happier with the outcome! We had a bridal party of 26 between the bridesmaids and groomsmen, plus family from two large families, and Valerie handled it all with incredible efficiency and grace. She kept everything moving smoothly without ever making us feel rushed, and somehow still managed to capture creative, detail rich, candid images throughout the entire day. Her ability to juggle a big group while staying true to that natural, docu-style aesthetic is a rare skill and she exceeded any expectations we had going into it! When we saw our photos, we were beyond ourselves! Every image captured the real emotion and joy of our day in such a genuine, organic way.
