Absolutely Amazing People!

It was an amazing experience working with the three amazing people we were assigned for our wedding. We booked a photographer, videographer, and DJ through this company and I don’t think I could have asked for much more than what they did for us! Finding vendors for these three jobs was very important to me as a bride because I wanted to make sure it was going to be a stress free and memorable day. I wanted to make sure everything was captured and that friends and family would have the best time possible celebrating with us. To start with our photographer Sean, he is such an amazing individual and was such a light hearted and fun energy to have. He got along with everybody and was so patient with our youngest and oldest family members. The photos we received were amazing and captured so many great moments without feeling posed. Our videographer Jason captured such great moments for us and cracked so many jokes throughout the day. Our video is absolutely amazing and was pretty close to what I had imagined before receiving it. When your videographer willingly whips out a kart wheel to show off to a group of dancers, you know he’s passionate about his job. Lastly our DJ John was the perfect DJ for our party! He was so attentive and absolutely hilarious. An amazing MC and worked with me to create several surprises throughout the night. As a dancer and perfectionist, I could not have asked for someone to have read the room any better! I never had to ask for songs to be skipped and my guests felt so comfortable to approach him with requests. I don’t know if we could ever put into words how well they worked together. Everyone that we dealt with through this company made our experience so easy to manage.

Giving three stars is pretty generous of me. For the price you pay, and how pretty much every part of what this company did, something went wrong… I wish I could turn back time and choose differently. Our wedding was a few months ago. Right after the wedding, I was still on my “wedding high” and thought the day went pretty well. But after realizing a few weeks later, it could have went so much better and talking to people and discussing how I felt, Everyone told me to write a review. I did write one for the team and didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but now that I have a few bride friends asking who we used for our wedding, I actually am kind of embarrassed to even mention who we used. Don’t get me wrong, some parts were great. But some would have been SO much better. You start with the phone calls/facetimes and meet your team so everyone knows EXACTLY how the day is supposed to go. Our wedding coordinator was supposed to put out our desserts for our dessert table, since we didn’t have a caterer, and she understood and agreed to this. We had two desserts, cupcakes and cake balls. She only put out part of the desserts (cake balls), which then my guests filled up on those and didn’t put out the cupcakes. So, the guests didn’t know we had cupcakes. She put the cupcakes out after the cake bites were gone and we at the end of the night, were stuck with HALF of the cupcakes we ordered. Plus I didn’t get a picture of my dessert table for my baker. Our Photographers Energy was amazing. He was a lot of fun. But he never really gave us direction. Our wedding group photos don’t look put together. The guys aren’t lined up nicely. They are all jumbled. And then in some photos people’s heads are cut out by other people’s arms. Which I think he should have caught that day so we could have taken them over in the moment. Also, some of the pictures just don’t look professional at all. They look like someone just took them off their phone. Or someone’s moving or someone’s eyes are closed. Why didn’t we take these over??? It’s a wedding day. The one photo that really irritates me is my dad specifically asked for a panoramic photo. He had it all planned out. And the photographer made it seem like it was a big deal to even take for him. It doesn’t even look right, what he gave us. All my dad wanted was one off of his phone. His portfolio was soo much better than what we got. Our DJ was fun. My complaints there were that he messed up the father/daughter songs. He was supposed to play two back to back and only played one. And then at the end of the night the father of the bride asked to pay for him to keep playing but he said “no” then turned around and took money to keep playing from someone else? Our photobooth operator seemed like he was bored the whole time. And when people asked for help, he didn’t really help. In the end I wish I would have went a completely different direction for our wedding. For the price you pay and then you pay extra to pick specific people then their work doesn’t even show up like it should…what a disappointment. Definitely do hard research before going with this company.

My wife and I worked with Ian as our DJ and Jason as our photographer from Complete Weddings + Events. They were both PHENOMENAL. Ian was so great at handling all the curve balls of the day and was overall just an amazing and supportive person to have on our big day. His calming demeanor and quick thinking was a breath of fresh air. I felt like I had another top notch groomsmen in the mix. Jason was the king of making the photography feel so natural, and his coordination skills with us were unmatched. My family even asked if we got one of our friends to take the photographs he was able to adapt and fit the mood so well. The photos he takes also look beautiful, but I knew they would from the moment we started coordinating. Complete Weddings + Events made it such a smooth and easy process, and Jason and Ian are an excellent example of the professional talent they bring to make weddings amazing.

We had Samuel photograph our wedding yesterday and he was nothing short of amazing! He was punctual, attentive and most importantly flexible! He made our day better and we will always be grateful for him. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer! Thank you so much for all your hard work!
