I'm a self proclaimed music enthusiast, homebody, & a love-your-photos advocate who promises to be with you for every single step to i do. On days that I'm at home, I'm usually curled up on the couch with my golden doodle and a good book. If the weather is nice, you can find me at the pool, hiking, or downhill skiing in the colder months! Oh.. & I LOVE food.

I want my clients to walk away from our time together feeling important, loved, and that their wedding was the most important thing I've shot. While I've photographed 140+ weddings, I pride myself on my clients feeling like they're my only client. With quick turn around times, imagery that's full of vibrancy and light, and a high likelihood that we'll feel like besties I've built my business around a personability that feels unmatched.

    The perfect photos for the perfect day!

    How do you put into words a service that is absolutely perfect and everything you’ve ever dreamed of? Caitlin is absolutely incredible. She has gone above and beyond other photographers I’ve worked with in every way. She helped us from the start with all sorts of information, tips and tricks and helped us create a timeline that worked for everyone and kept the whole day flowing. From engagement photos, to boudoir photos to our wedding – Caitlin was there and documented every step of the way. She truly is a godsend. She is so talented and every photo is crisp, beautiful and shows the true emotion of the day. She has one of the fastest turn-around times I have ever come across for wedding photographers. (We had our sneak peak 14 hours after she left our wedding and our entire gallery in 5 DAYS!) and every photo is perfect. She’s so quick and efficient and the groomsman didn’t complain once! She’s got a wonderful personality and she’s got jokes and makes every situation light and so enjoyable. She’s like a ninja and sometimes I forgot she was there! She’s so thorough and doesn’t miss a beat if something changes on the fly. We truly love all of our photos and recommend her to all of our friends who are getting married. She made the whole experience a breeze and so enjoyable and we love our photos and her so much!

    Excellent. The best wedding decision we made.

    I don't know where to start--Caitlin was absolutely incredible. One of the things I felt was most important for the wedding was finding a great photographer. As soon as I saw Caitlin's photos, I knew she was it! This has been proven to be true over and over since we booked with her. She is so organized, friendly, and overall great. From the beginning she made us feel at ease and helped us stay on track. And this is before we even got to the photos! The engagement session was so much fun, and she even made my very nervous fiance feel comfortable! The turn-around on the photos was so fast, and each one was so beautiful! On the wedding day, she arrived early and was so helpful with not only making sure we obtained each photo we wanted, but also helping coordinate with the other vendors and helping us stay on time for the day. She took so many gorgeous photos while still making sure we had time to enjoy the day--a wonderful balance. Many of our guests/family members complimented her efficiency, work, and personality throughout the wedding day. And once again, the turn around on receiving our photos was so quick! Honestly, I couldn't recommend anyone more highly than Caitlin--working with her was easily one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process!

    Caitlin at Caynay Photo is beyond amazing! She was my wedding photographer when I got married. Then when I started my day of coordinating business for brides, she was so helpful with giving advice. I have had the pleasure to work a few weddings with her & look forward to more in our future. Her photography is beautiful & timeless, her energy is contagious, her responsiveness to emails is SO quick & her turn around time to get your photos is minimal. 700-800 images. Never less, usually more. I never cap my weddings so if your day ends up with 1400 deliverable images, they'll be yours. There are a few instances that can make that number fluctuate but the minimum amount would be in between that range.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or a contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Since I launched in 2011, I have ALWAYS delivered wedding images between 10-15 days following the wedding. Pssst, it's usually within 6-7 days :)
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. If you have a stress pimple that shows up the morning of, no biggie.. BUT your size 18, 2, 16, 4 body is beautiful just as it is and should be celebrated.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Since 2011 I can count on one hand how many times I've used a second photographer. We can chat more about this privately but I do not believe you need one.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
