Eolian was the best choreographer me and my (now) husband could have ever asked for! She was extremely receptive to our vision, went above and beyond and cut the music for us, and made sure we were prepared for anything that came our way on wedding day. Everything was planned perfectly, even down to the tiniest details, and the pictures came out absolutely lovely as a result. However, I think the best part of working with her was how much fun we had at each and every lesson. Even though my husband is not a skilled dancer, she made it look like he'd been dancing for ages. She also provided us with gorgeous, unique choreography that we wouldn’t have gotten from anyone else. If you want a personalized choreography experience with someone who truly cares about you as people, look no further.

Our best decision

We can’t recommend Eolian highly enough! We started with zero dance experience and simply hoped to survive our first dance, but from the very first lesson Eolian made us feel comfortable and confident. Eolian didn’t just teach us steps — she created a dance that truly reflected our personalities and relationship. She even edited our song and tailored the choreography to our venue so everything felt natural and looked great. What once felt intimidating became fun and meaningful, and our first dance turned into one of our favorite wedding moments. Months later, we still receive compliments on how memorable it was. Eolian’s care, creativity, and dedication are unmatched, and we couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re considering wedding dance lessons, Eolian is the best choice.

As non-dancers, we originally didn't even want to do a wedding dance but felt obligated to. We went to another dance studio and found it very choreographed - we wanted to be more free and natural. I stumbled upon Silvien Wedding Steps and we bonded instantly! Eolian is extremely flexible to couples' style and wishes, helping us edit the song and come up with some signature dance moves to pull out if we were stuck. We had so much fun rehearsing and always ended up laughing the whole time. She always emphasized that it's about the feeling / memory you create rather than memorizing a bunch of steps. Highly recommend for non-dancers and dancers alike!

We had two months, no dance experience, and an ambitious vision to surprise our wedding guests with a dance to a three song mashup, including a surprise hip-hop part. Eo took us on enthusiastically. She was an incredibly effective dance teacher (our guests were surprised we didn't have any dance experience)! She was also an amazing choreographer, translating the abstract ideas and vibes we wanted into dance moves, while also being open to our feedback and making it feel collaborative throughout the process. Most importantly, dance practice was fun. It was a much needed stress reliever during a time that can often be stressful. I highly recommend doing a choreographed first dance for your wedding, and I highly HIGHLY recommend Eo as a dance teacher.
