    Look no further for your first dance teacher!

    Tonisha, thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and expertise in planning our first dance for our wedding! We are soooo proud and happy with how our dance went and we have YOU to thank!     The Dancing Designer choreographed a hit of a first dance for me and my now wife. We gave her a song paired with a very rough idea which she lifted, spun, and pirouetted into a wholly original performance that will be hard for anybody to forget. She brought creativity and introduced discipline to us with two left feet in the best of ways; we still practice the dance in our apartment after the fact because it’s just so dang fun!     Bride to be

    Tonisha has crafted my fiancé and I first dance. We are very much beginners and she has is a great and well versed choreographer. Her feedback during and after lessons are meaningful in getting the dance just right.

    Wonderful sessions and beautiful choreography

    Working with The Dancing Designer was such a pleasant experience and a great choice for our wedding! Tonisha took the time to understand what we wanted and helped us create two distinct dances (one Waltz and one Tango) that felt true to us. She was encouraging throughout the process, and she was thoughtful about the details -- she added diversity to our lifts and dips and really improved the grace and flow of our movements. She recorded videos and gave specifc practice instructions after each session, which made practicing at home so much easier throughout the week. Tonisha and Monika also provided edited versions of the music and choices for dance shoes. We had zero dancing experience, but The Dancing Designer turned us into dancers! We are very impressed by the progress we have made, and we couldn't have done it without them!
