Restaurant now open in Middletown offering tastings! Preparing and serving slow smoked, expertly prepared Texas barbecue and rustic Italian inspired dishes is the greatest joy in my life. There are no short cuts in barbecue and that's what I love about it. We started Luongo Barbecue to glorify the Lord and grow the Kingdom of God. We use the business as a means to feed and serve our community. After spending 30 years in Texas we have relocated to central Pennsylvania to begin working with family on the next chapter of Luongo Barbecue. Winners of "Best in Show" and "Best Entrée" at Taste of Western Lancaster County 2025 for our brisket.

We're not hired to simply provide and serve food. We provide the bride, groom and their guests with a memorable dining experience for them to truly enjoy as they gather around the table to celebrate and honor the beginning of their lives together. Our work is our worship. We aim to bring glory to God by serving you with excellence. Every wedding is sacred and worthy of our best efforts. A portion of profits go to feeding the homeless and funding missions though our church. NO SEED OILS! Quality is non-negotiable. We cook all of our prepared dishes exclusively with olive oil, avocado oil, and tallow.

Still dreaming about the food!!
Luongo Barbecue exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding! The food was absolutely incredible, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. We received so many compliments throughout the night and even after the wedding. I am still dreaming about that brisket and the green beans! Beyond the amazing food, the entire Luongo team was phenomenal to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding food and exceptional service for their wedding! P.S skip a cake and get their dessert instead! We got the peach cobbler and it was incredible!

Wedding dinner
We hired Luongo Barbecue for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our choice. From start to finish, the team was straightforward and easy to work with—they knew what they were doing and didn't waste our time with unnecessary back-and-forth. The food was delicious, and you could tell they used quality ingredients in everything they prepared. We especially liked that they did not use seed oils in their food. It really did taste like authentic Texas BBQ, and we were happy to provide our guests with a great meal. The service ran smoothly, and our guests couldn't stop talking about the barbecue. We'd recommend Luongo Barbecue to any couple looking for a caterer who delivers great food and genuine care for their event.

Excellent food, even better service
We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Luongo Barbecue. From our first conversation, Chuck was punctual, honest, and truly invested in making our day special. His team showed up ready to exceed expectations—the food was outstanding and the service was even better. What really impressed us was how he went above and beyond in making our day possible, treating our wedding like it was his own. The whole crew demonstrated exceptional character and professionalism throughout the evening. Great price for a great package!
Luongo was a breeze to communicate and work with, great price for what was included. He set up, cleaned up, and provided packaging for all left overs which was a huge help. Good food and great service!

INCREDIBLE FOOD
Chuck with Luongo BBQ was amazing to work with! His communication was wonderful, was very kind, and was amazing to work with. He works around your needs. And not to mention, our food got SO many compliments!!!
