Preparing and serving slow smoked, expertly prepared Texas barbecue and rustic Italian inspired dishes is the greatest joy in my life. There are no short cuts in barbecue and that's what I love about it. We started Luongo Barbecue to glorify the Lord and grow the Kingdom of God. We use the business as a means to feed and serve our community. After spending 30 years in Texas we have relocated to central Pennsylvania to begin working with family on the next chapter of Luongo Barbecue. Winners of "Best in Show" and "Best Entrée" at Taste of Western Lancaster County 2025 for our brisket, pulled pork and peach cobbler!

We're not hired to simply provide and serve food. We provide the bride, groom and their guests with a memorable dining experience for them to truly enjoy as they gather around the table to celebrate and honor the beginning of their lives together. Our work is our worship. We aim to bring glory to God by serving you with excellence. Every wedding is sacred and worthy of our best efforts. A portion of profits go to feeding the homeless and funding missions though our church. NO SEED OILS! Quality is non-negotiable. We cook all of our prepared dishes exclusively with olive oil, avocado oil, and tallow.

Luongo Barbecue was the perfect caterer for our wedding! From the very beginning, their communication was consistent, friendly, and fast. They were incredibly easy to work with and made the entire process stress-free. On the day of the wedding, they arrived and set everything up seamlessly - I didn't even know they were there, which is exactly what a bride wants on her special day. And the food? Amazing! Delicious and consistent, it was a huge hit with all of our guests. People are still raving about it days later and wishing they could have taken some home. I would recommend Luongo Barbecue 100% - they were so understanding and attentive throughout the entire process. Their amazing service and incredible food made our wedding day that much more special.

I cannot recommend them enough! From our very first message we felt like they truly cared to help us make our day special. They were fast to respond to any questions we had along the way and worked with our budget to make the most out of it. We had so many people compliment and rave about the food! Even our family that came from the south and tend to be picky with their barbecue fell in love. If you’re looking around for options, you can stop now because they are the ones!

TLDR: You will find absolutely nobody better to do any event. These guys have taken the crown for best BBQ in the area. My wife and I took a chance on these guys as they were moving up from Texas. We committed just because of their communication and the way they made things others in the area didnt. We just had a great feeling about them. So, we booked them. We did try their food at a tasting event and holy smokes! It was the best BBQ I had since I was in Tennessee. Then talking with them, they could not be more delightful. We knew we had lightning in a bottle. We even HAD to get the peach cobbler at the wedding... Fast forward to the wedding, they were prompt, and an absolute delight to have. So many people that day and even to this very day tell us that was the best wedding meal they ever ate. This includes people who work at weddings. We could not have been happier at the choice we made when we took a leap of faith and booked them without ever meeting or trying the food. We tell anyone who will listen to us about how amazing Luongo BBQ is. And yes, I will be using them every excuse I get!

Chuck Luongo and his wife were wonderful to work with! From pricing to food selection, they were flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process. We chose buffet style to help keep costs down. On the day of the event, the charcuterie board looked phenomenal. Guests also raved about the brisket and peach cobbler. If you’re planning on a budget and want quality food, Luongo BBQ is a fantastic choice!
