Hello! My name is Shaelyn Oathout. I am the self taught one woman show behind Shae’s Cakes, an in-home bakery based in Poland, NY. I’m so glad you’re here! Shae’s Cakes started early in 2020 as a hobby, but I quickly realized just how passionate I am about starting from scratch, and bringing people’s sweet dreams to life! I look forward to getting to know you, and helping you create tasty memories that will last a lifetime!

I am 100% self-taught! What I thought would be a fun hobby, quickly turned into a passion and a business. Anytime I am not baking, I am thinking about new innovative ideas, practicing different techniques, and doing anything I can to better myself and my products for my customers.

    Shae’s Cakes made cake pops for our wedding. She made 4 different unique flavors, and they were the most delicious cake pops I’ve ever had! People still talk about them over a year later! It makes a huge difference knowing that the dessert served at my wedding was rememberable. We will be using Shae’s Cakes for all of our events in the future! She is very easy to work with and accommodating.
