Don’t base your decision on price alone. Your wedding photos and film are some of the only things that last after the day is over, so hire someone with real experience — not just a nice camera. Look for experience in real wedding environments, a consistent portfolio, clear communication, a professional contract, a defined process, and backup equipment. Pay attention to how they communicate early on. If they’re organized and responsive during booking, that’s usually how they’ll perform on your wedding day. Choose someone who can handle pressure calmly and deliver consistently.

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

I recommend booking as soon as you have your venue and date secured. Most couples book 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season in Southern California (spring and fall). Popular dates can book out even earlier. Because I only take a limited number of weddings per month to ensure quality and attention to detail, availability can fill quickly. Yes — every photo you receive is professionally edited. I carefully go through your entire gallery and deliver fully edited, high-resolution images that are color-corrected, exposure-balanced, and polished to match my signature style. I do not deliver unedited images unless specifically requested as an add-on. My goal is to make sure your final gallery feels cohesive, timeless, and ready to print and share.

How long will it take to see our pictures?

You’ll receive a sneak peek within 3 days of your wedding so you have a few highlights to share right away. Your full edited gallery is typically delivered within 4–6 weeks, depending on the season and coverage length. During peak wedding season, turnaround times may be closer to the later end of that window. As soon as your gallery is ready, you’ll be notified and able to download all your high-resolution images.

How many pictures will we get?

The exact number depends on your coverage length, timeline, and how the day unfolds — but I deliver all the best images from your wedding, not a capped amount. On average, couples receive 400–600+ edited images for 6 hours, 600–800+ for 8 hours, and 800–1,000+ for 10 hours of coverage. I focus on quality over arbitrary limits, so you’ll receive a full, well-rounded gallery that tells the complete story of your day — fully edited and high resolution.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I carry full liability insurance for my wedding photography and videography services. If your venue requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI), I’m happy to provide one upon request. I understand many venues require proof of coverage, and I make that process simple and seamless for my couples.

In the very unlikely event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding due to a serious emergency, I have a trusted network of experienced professional wedding photographers here in Southern California (all with 10+ years of experience) who I regularly work alongside. Because we collaborate often, they understand my standards, workflow, and expectations. I would coordinate the replacement personally to ensure seamless coverage, and I would remain involved in the editing process so your final gallery stays consistent with my style. Your wedding would never be left uncovered — contingency planning is something I take very seriously.

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Yes. Depending on the coverage you book and the size of your wedding, I may bring a second photographer or assistant. For larger weddings, tight timelines, or when coverage is happening in multiple locations, a second photographer helps capture more angles, candid moments, and simultaneous events. Assistants help with lighting setup, gear management, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. I work with a small, trusted team of experienced professionals who I’ve collaborated with for years, so we move efficiently and stay aligned with the same quality standards and workflow.
