Toryn packed the dance floor all night!
We LOVED working with Toryn and the team at Exquisite Sounds! Toryn kept the dance floor packed all night long and people RAVED about the party! His set up was perfect covering the ceremony & reception space along with the cocktail hour space. The volume and vibe were amazing. He totally understood what we were looking for and I can't say enough kind things about working (and partying) with him. The app made planning and communicating with them so easy and helped me feel confident that I wasn't forgetting or overlooking anything and was easy to share with my planner. It was great as a resource to get ideas for some parts as well. I would HIGHLY recommend working with this team and would do it again in a heartbeat.

We hired this DJ for our wedding on August 23, 2026, and unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. When we first met him, his personality and energy were what sold us. He was upbeat, confident, personable, and presented himself as someone who knew our venue well and would almost serve as a “second planner,” his words. His package also came with great extras, including a photo booth, violinist connection, and other enhancements. Unfortunately, his attitude and communication changed significantly toward the end of planning. During our final meeting, several simple requests and song selections I brought up were immediately dismissed or said to be impossible, including a basic three-song mashup for our reception entrance. What was especially frustrating was that when my husband joined the conversation, some of those same requests were suddenly possible. I felt dismissed and extremely uncomfortable, so from that point forward, I let my husband continue communication with Toryn. His demeanor during that meeting was noticeably negative. He appeared visibly frustrated, including eye-rolling on camera, and his tone felt completely different from the person we originally booked. I even followed up before the wedding to express my concerns and hoped his energy would be different on our wedding day. Unfortunately, issues continued. When he saw me before the ceremony, he did not acknowledge me and acted as if he did not see me, which felt uncomfortable and immature—especially from someone we were paying nearly 7,000. We had also discussed separate ceremony songs for different members of the processional and were told it could not be done, so our family prepared based on that direction. On the wedding day, the separate songs I originally requested were played anyway, causing unnecessary confusion. One of the most disappointing moments involved a memorial voice recording for my husband’s late mother. It was played without first quieting or resetting the room or explaining what guests were about to hear. He simply pressed play while guests were still talking and moving around, so many people missed the recording. This was an incredibly meaningful moment for our family, and we expected much more care and intention. During the reception, we also expected a stronger microphone presence and more involvement in keeping the energy going. At times, it felt like songs were simply being played rather than the reception being actively emceed and guided. Thankfully, our live artist stepped in and brought much of the energy throughout the night. What makes this especially disappointing is that he was the only vendor we had an issue with during our entire wedding process. Every other vendor, our venue, and planning team were kind, collaborative, professional, and easy to work with. While the package comes with plenty of bells and whistles, professionalism, communication, consistency, and execution matter just as much. Based on our personal experience, we would not recommend him and are very disappointed that we spent our money here. Personality and performance mean more to me than extras you can find cold spark enhancements, a photo booth, and separately contract a violinist elsewhere. Sadly we now and will forever have negative flash backs when it comes to our wedding day, simply because of one person.
