We're Select Receptions, and we help engaged couples plan & create unforgettable, personalized wedding day celebrations! We're confident in saying that there is no substitute for what we do (and there is no second chance to get it right). For most dates, we do one wedding per date, and the company owner is personally your direct contact throughout planning. Our extensive online planning tools allow you to craft your day according to your wishes! :-)

Unlike most, we never use a cheesy, cookie-cutter wedding playlist. With Select Receptions, you can expect personalized music selections built upon your requests, made in your own online planning portal. We're experts at reading the crowd, and we're famous for packed dance-floors. ​ Unless you specifically request songs like the YMCA, The Chicken Dance, etc., we automatically place those and similar music in the do-not-play category. Because these are songs that people either LOVE or HATE, I defer to my client's tastes on them. Your wedding reception should be remembered as FUN, and uniquely YOU! ​

      Great DJ and Video team!

      We had a wonderful experience working with Select Receptions for our wedding. Kirk was friendly and attentive; he took the time to understand our music preferences and vision for our reception and was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process. Kirk now offers videography, which you should definitely hire him for! He cares about capturing your most important moments with high-quality videography that is true to life and true to color.

    Absolutely. Our contract outlines and establishes our every obligation to you and your event. If you'd like to view it prior to reserving your date, just let us know and we'll be glad to send you a copy
    Sure! Your retainer payment is usually 1/3rd the total amount of your event to reserve the date, after that's applied to your balance, you're welcome to pay the remainder over time leading up to your wedding in thirds, or in Easy Automatic Monthly Payments.
    It's very likely. We've played at most of the top venues in CNY. That said, if we haven't been to yours, be assured we'll adequately prepare prior to your event by visiting the venue and/or speaking with the site contact and familiarizing ourselves with the floor plan. We'll always ensure familiarity with your site so that you won’t have any surprises on your wedding day
    Yes. We'll adhere as strictly to your list as you'd like, and avoid any songs or styles of music you'd prefer not to hear at your event.
    Absolutely. We're insured with a one million dollar liability coverage ($2,000,000 aggregate) policy underwritten by the top A+ rated insurance carrier in the country for mobile entertainers. Many venues require this in the Facility Rental Agreement. We're happy to add your venue to our policy, and provide a certificate of proof in preparation for your event. Just ask.
    No. We will not use a sign, banner, printed tablecloth etc. to advertise our business at your Wedding or other private event.
