We absolutely loved getting married at Loft Lucia on Saturday, July 27th! We had our ceremony and reception on-site inside and our cocktail hour upstairs on the rooftop for 70 guests. The space is incredible and is gorgeous in both the daylight, with tons of natural light, and at night (the lighting was perfect with just candles)! Rebecca and the Loft Lucia team made the entire process easy, and were very responsive and always extremely helpful. We are so happy with our decision and could not recommend Loft Lucia more! Jerry and his crew made out wedding day incredible! They helped run the whole day, they got the guests seated, kept everything on schedule, and ensured that Ben and I didn't have to worry about anything. When our flowergirl got stage-fright right before walking down the aisle, Jerry swooped in to save the day and helped her find her mom. We initially didn't plan to do a grand entrance into the reception, but Jerry and the DJ (Megan from Music that Moves) made one happen last-minute so our flower girl could have a second shot ar throwing her petals. You're not just getting a venue at Parkway, you're getting a whole team who will make your event run smoothly. If we ever do a vow renewal or anniversary party, we will be back!

Where do I begin to review the absolute best vendor in the world? My husband and I looked at one place before the Marriott for our wedding, and the second we saw the Marriott and started speaking to the sales manager, we were sold. They were so accommodating from start to finish. Jill, Faby, and the entire team met and exceeded every single one of our expectations. The marriott @ burr ridge is not only an amazing location, our guests loved it, the rooms were nice and updated, affordable pricing, BEAUTIFUL and HUGE ballroom, great food, and I cannot think of one reason not to book here. If you want a stress-free wedding process at a place that you. your future spouse, and all of your guests are going to love, then look no further. Everything went seamlessly and Kiley was a great day of coordinator, making sure that we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding and everyone raved about our cake which is provided from Orland Bakery. Everything felt so easy in those final days leading up to the wedding and it was so much to do with having everything at Ruffled Feathers and the amazing work they do.

We had an amazing experience with the Sculpture Garden at Bridgeport Art Center. We started our process with Claire who was super accommodating with a last minute Friday evening tour to accommodate my work schedule, once we booked we worked with Eleanor who was also wonderful. Communication with both was timely and efficient and they were super patient with all my questions! The space itself was stunning, guests are still commenting on it a month later! For us it was awesome to have an “outdoor wedding” that didn’t need a rain plan due to the cover on the ceremony space. You felt like you were outside with more of the comforts of an inside space, and the pictures turned out amazing with the natural light, tall ceilings and chandeliers! The indoor space is just as lovely and the night flowed beautifully thanks to the venue team!

The venue is truly amazing. The terrance for our ceremony looked over the Michigan Lake and the City of Chicago Skyline. The indoor area to eat and dance shows a great classy and modern decor. The venue definitely speaks for itself, and does not require much decorations to reflect a beautiful wedding. One downside we experienced was communication. My wife and I were shocked on some of the responses. This was our first time getting married, and some of the communications back to us made it seem like we should know everything about the wedding industry. We also had to repeat multiple emails and communications even though this information was given to another college at the venue.

I couldn't be happier with our decision to book The Carter as our wedding venue! The staff made the night go flawlessly. My wedding coordinator even commented how impressed she was with how quick their staff was able to move throughout setup during the day. She also complimented the catering coordinator as being a complete pro. With The Carter you are required to use their caterer, D'Absolute, but that was not a problem for us because the food was phenomenal. Wedding food can be hit or miss, but we had multiple guests raving about everything from the apps to the late night snacks. Chris allowed us to include 2 signature drinks and customized our bar menu to whatever we wanted. Since I got married on my birthday Chris even upgraded our glassware free of charge which was such a sweet, unexpected gesture! They are very flexible with how you want to use the space, which I loved because we were able to make the event truly unique. What sold me on the space is that you don't need to add much additional decor because it's so beautiful on its own. The connecting courtyard comes with string lights. The interior space includes multiple chandeliers and string lights over the dance floor. Most other places you'd need to bring those details in, and pay for them. What I also love about the space is you get the "lofty, urban" feel without all of the pillars/poles in a typical loft space. You get high ceilings and an open floor plan, which makes the space look so much nicer (in my opinion). The cost is a little pricier than other venues we explored, however I 100% think we paid for higher quality and I have zero regrets.

Hangout Lighting was a fantastic choice for our wedding reception venue. Jen's communication throughout the planning process was extremely prompt and helpful. I was looking for a space that was already partially decorated and set up, one that had some indoor and outdoor space, as well as one that allowed us to bring in any vendors of our choosing. Hangout Lighting delivered on all these points. We loved the lighting (of course!) and that the beautiful farmhouse tables and chairs were already perfectly in place. Jen offered a lot of flexibility in the timing of the day as well, so we could choose the number of hours that fit our event. I wish we could have celebrated past the 10pm last call and, looking back, might have started our event earlier in the evening to have more time. But all of the rules and guidance were extremely well communicated ahead of time, so we knew what we were getting into. The free street parking was plentiful, and the location worked great for us. Very glad we were able to celebrate our wedding at Hangout Lighting during the first year that they were hosting events in the space, as I think we got a great deal as well, having compared prices with some similar places in the area. Thanks Jen and staff!

Seven Bridges was an outstanding wedding venue that made planning and day of a breeze! From the very beginning, Roisin was extremely flexible and made sure we knew she was always available for questions. She was always super fast to respond and eager to provide guidance. We chose the venue because we were excited to work with her and the packages (especially the higher ones) included so many details I didn’t want to have to worry about. Additionally, they have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with ways to personalize and a backup space that would allow for a beautiful ceremony if bad weather happened. Also very important, they would have allowed my dog to be present had she been able to make it. There is only one wedding happening at a time and the ceremony space was very quiet, despite the golf course still being open. I did not have a planner but did not ever feel like I needed one. Roisin gave a list early on and while overwhelming at first look, I was able to chip away at it for 18 months. Leading up to the wedding, the venue coordinated with vendors to ensure everything went smoothly. While Roisin was not present the day of, there was an event manager, Jen, who helped to ensure everything went off without a hitch and any problems were handled immediately. The food was excellent and the bartenders were wonderful and so friendly. All the staff the day of were outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Seven Bridges.

It is hard to put into words just how extraordinary my wedding was at the CAA. The catering team made the planning process such an enjoyable one and I had complete trust in each person involved. The ballrooms are unlike any in the city: elegant and historic with gorgeous views. We had our ceremony and reception in the White City Ballroom, overlooking Millennium Park and the lake. The Executive Chef and Pastry Chef are extremely inventive and I can assure you that this is not your typical hotel wedding plated dinner. The tasting was such a fun day and it became so clear that I had picked the right venue for my wedding. The team made us feel so special and personalized the whole experience for us. My wedding guests are still gushing over the dinner months later! They also offer table-side choice of entree and synchronized service, which was truly incredible to watch! The servers were so dedicated to proving the best service. The Director of Banquets and Banquet Manager went over the top to make sure this was a stress free day for me. I never had to worry about a thing! We had an after party in the Game Room. It was great to have such a fun spot to go after the wedding...in the same building. My guests loved it! I am so grateful for the whole team at the CAA for making my wedding a dream come true!

The Royal Sonesta was the first venue we toured out of about four different places in a day and as soon as we walked through we knew that this was where we wanted to have our wedding. The spaces for the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception were perfect for our wedding of about 75 people. All on the penthouse floor, the views from the different areas give you basically a 360 view of the river and the rest of downtown Chicago but that is just the cherry on top. The team at the hotel is top notch and we couldn't have done it without Lauren. They went above and beyond anything that we contracted, providing 5 star service to not just us but every single guest that we had staying there. If we ever had a question, Lauren was there to answer it in a timely manner, making accommodations and concessions that made our stay and event memorable. If you are looking for a venue to host any event, not just a wedding, we would highly suggest reaching out and seeing for yourself why this is the perfect location with the most amazing services.
