Throughout the process, Yoli, the bridal coordinator, responded to all of my questions promptly and cheerfully. Marielly and Janelle made me feel so comfortable and confident at my trial and were open and responsive to feedback and follow-up questions I had about my own look as well as questions my girls wanted to ask. On my wedding day, my bridesmaids, mom, and I got ready at the pink salon. The space is bright, airy, and full of cute spots for photos. Marielly and Janelle gave each of my girls the same VIP treatment they gave me at my trial and they kept us on time to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. My group ranged widely in terms of needs (we had hair that was curly, straight, thick, and thin and girls who ranged from wearing little to no makeup regularly to girls who regularly go full glam and wanted bright and colorful looks), and each girl ended up with a look that was perfect for them! Our hair and makeup lasted all night long! While the final product was impressive, what stands out the most to me about working with The Stately Rose was how they made me feel. Every question or concern I had was treated as important (no matter how small) in the lead-up to the day. “A different wedding makeup artist recommended me to Danny and specifically said he is the only person she likes to do her own makeup. That was an immediate good sign for me. When I first reached out to him his kindness and sincerity were the first things I noticed. He was super professional and thorough but also very easy to talk to. I ended up doing two makeup and hair trials and felt really good about my look after the second one. Lia was the hair stylist who Danny recommended and works with frequently. They were both very understanding and just wanted me to feel my best. They were right on time the day of the wedding, had such a calming presence and everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup. One of my bridesmaids who didn’t originally sign up for makeup asked to have hers done because of how much she loved everyone else’s and because we had enough time he was able to do it. After the wedding everyone said how well my makeup and hair lasted and you can tell in the photos as well! Danny and Lia were great listeners, super fun, very approachable and easy to talk to in the process of figuring out what I liked and didn’t like and just really skilled at their craft. Her package deal is incredible, her pre wedding face kit is amazing, her touch up kit is still use to this day, and her own facial products are some of my faves. I didn’t have “mini facial” on my wedding morning timeline but omfg I would tell every bride it’s absolutely necessary. During my trial (at her adorable home studio!) we went in a traditional direction and 5 months later I asked her to pivot entirely and go foundation-less. “Being able to have Antonia do my make up was easy and so comfortable. I wasn't prepared with any of my own make up and being a Black Woman I was worried there wouldn't be the right colors. Antonia blended up some foundation and got an exact color match! I also HATE false lashes, BUT she put them on with such ease I couldn't even tell I was wearing them!
