Hi! I’m Alexandra, Owner of Beauty By A, a premier destination for luxury lash extensions, bridal hair and makeup artistry, and a personalized beauty experience. Specializing in weddings, as well as prom and pageant glamour, my expert services will elevate your natural beauty. I am a Rhode Island native born and raised! I love this small state but I will always travel anywhere for your special day!

I have a passion for the beauty industry inside and out, whether it’s the newest trends, classic styles and always keeping a cleanly set up. I will continue to strive by making sure your special day is running smoothly, on time, and keep everyone on track with the itinerary but still make sure you’re keeping hydrating! Yes! I am located in East Providence, Rhode Island and I travel all over the country and destination weddings.
Yes! With over 8 years of experience, I have encountered many different skin types whether it is acne prone, dryness, textured skin etc. As for skin tones, I love incorporating color theory to mix a shade that’s custom for you.
Yes! I am available for touch ups throughout photos to a wedding reception and any other special events inquired for an additional fee.
I accept all major cards.

    Incredible MUA and person!

    Alexandra brought the most beautiful energy to our wedding day! From the first trial to the final photos day-of, she was a joy and an incredible artist. She brought so much laughter and good vibes to the day, and my makeup turned out more beautiful than I could have dreamed!     Amazing!

    Ali was amazing to work with! She gave me the perfect makeup and was eager to help me achieve what I wanted. I told her bronzy glowy bride and she delivered! All the bridesmaids loved working with her and she was easy to talk to. She understood exactly what we wanted and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. All the updo's held throughout the night, even with warm weather and lots of dancing! It was truly a pleasure to work with Ali, everyone had nothing but amazing things to say about her work!

    Bridal Makeup

    Ally did an amazing job on my makeup and my bridal party, it consisted of two junior bridesmaids, my mother, and grandmother. All of us looked and felt so beautiful! I am so thankful to have had her there as a friend and to support and keep me calm on my wedding day! i would love to use her again for another formal event.
