“Ed was so helpful and easy to work with our entire wedding process, which was a breath of fresh air in a very busy season! My friend had him at her wedding a few years prior and highly recommended him, and I’m so glad we took her suggestion! Ed has a great DJ website where you can add all the songs you like, as well as which songs you don’t want to hear (which is very important for me). He then creates amazing mixes with the songs and knows how to keep the party going. I was really happy he was able to find our first dance song, which is from the 1940s and not easy to stream from just anywhere (thank you!!!). Our dance floor felt tailored to us, and the lights were so fun. He also did our introductions and gave the guests instructions when needed. If you’re on the fence about getting a DJ, book Edward Zaruba—he made our reception FUN!”

The booking and matching process through the MyDeejay site is clear and easy, and their pricing and expectations are very transparent up front which I appreciated. Their system is well built and user friendly. Their matching process is also great, because we LOVED the DJ we ended up with! We worked with DJ Chuck Nunn and he was absolutely phenomenal. We had friends playing pre-ceremony music, and he helped them get set up and navigate the venue. He also handled some on-the-fly requests from the FOB during cocktail hour and was able to play all of the songs that we wanted. He also absolutely CRUSHED IT on the dancefloor. He had everybody dancing, did some really cool transitions from one song into another. She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order. I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. I initially picked up a camera as a hobby, and then friends started asking me to do photography for them. Pretty soon I was doing photography for my friend's weddings, and I was hooked.
