It perfectly set the mood I was looking for, and I was so happy that he was able to play our nontraditional music selections; thankfully he was able to use a Spotify playlist I had made just for cocktail hour. I received so many compliments on the music from my guests, and he kept them dancing for hours! But the one thing Ed did that I was most impressed with and touched by, was him picking the perfect next song when my husband was dancing with his daughter. Our photographer was able to get some beautiful photos of the moment, and we will be treasuring them for years. Without Ed's instincts and quick thinking, we wouldn't have those photos. DJ Chuck absolutely exceeded our hopes & expectations & created a more perfect atmosphere than what we even had hoped for for our music. We admittedly had a notable list of must plays & "play if possible" songs, with some comments about certain parts of the song we wanted to get played or any specific announcements we wanted DJ Chuck to do with a certain song, and he got everything right, transitioned each song perfectly & maintained the integrity of each song, which is exactly what we wanted from our DJ (vs. a lot of remixing with quick transitions). The process of selecting MyDeeJay and using their online portal for our music selections was seamless & straightforward. Our dance floor didn't slow down once the whole night once dancing started, & our guests raved about how much fun they had. “Holly was immediately responsive & answered all our questions in detail. She was incredible at our engagement shoot & had even looked up several nearby parks to choose from, & looked at great locations within the 1 we chose to shoot our engagement photos. I initially picked up a camera as a hobby, and then friends started asking me to do photography for them. Pretty soon I was doing photography for my friend's weddings, and I was hooked. It was such an exhilarating feeling to capture such an important day in the lives of two people in love! But where I really found my love was with the video camera.

I was matched with Liseth for hair and Andy for makeup, they both are so talented. Throughout the whole process the Updos team was very responsive, communicatIve and easy to work with. Before my trial they gave me opportunity to share inspo pics they could see exactly what I wanted. I sent the pictures and when I went to the trial both Liseth and Andy listened and did a great job. I did make a few changes however, I did love my look and the changes were very minor. On the day of the wedding both Liseth and Andy were on time and they did an awesome job on everyone’s hair and makeup.
