“My husband and I hired Randall to serve as our photographer for our wedding last summer. In short, Randall did a wonderful job. From the first call he was very kind and relaxed, which we really appreciated given how stressful the wedding planning process can be at times. We selected his “Notting Hill” package, which we loved because it included not only wedding photography, but also an engagement photoshoot, a guestbook based on the engagement photoshoot, and a wedding photo album (with parent copies). The engagement photoshoot came out beautifully; we tried to time it to coincide with the foliage peaking, and Randall was extremely patient and flexible with us as we tried to plan for and work around the unpredictable Boston fall weather. The engagement photoshoot itself also came out great; even though neither my husband nor I had experience getting our picture taken in this type of setting, Randall made us feel very comfortable and had excellent ideas to take advantage of the scenery. We loved the photos so much we had trouble choosing which to use for our save the date cards. During the weeks leading up to the wedding, Randall was very organized and responsive, and stayed in close touch with us to discuss different logistics and plans related to coordinating with the videographers, timing, portraits with family members, and sunset photos, etc. On the wedding day itself, Randall kept us very calm and relaxed throughout the day, worked seamlessly with the videographers, and also took many amazing photographs that made great use of the colors and light, showed his impressive creative vision, and beautifully captured every part of the day. We were so delighted to see all the photographs a few months after the wedding, and to later work with Randall on a photo album which provides a tangible pictorial summary of our day (in fact, we also had trouble choosing what should go into the album because there were also so many great pictures to choose from). Finally, in addition to our wedding reception last summer, Randall also served as a photographer for our legal city hall wedding last winter, and similarly did an excellent job with that too. In short, we had a terrific experience working with Randall and feel very lucky to have been able to work with him as our wedding photographer.”

As a result, he was able to capture photos that were meaningful to us. For instance, as bird lovers, we were excited to encounter baby geese while taking our engagement photos, and Brett incorporated them into the shoot for us. “Ashley Wall and her fiancé Donald did a fantastic job all through the wedding process. From the initial engagement photo session through to the actual event, they were the epitome of professional. We didn't have much of a plan on what sort of pictures we wanted from them so she was able to offer options and suggestions that worked out well. They felt like they friends making suggestions rather than a professional directing us. The photos taken were a mix of the conventional and those that felt closer to our own personality. For both the engagement session and wedding, we received a fair number of sneak photos just a few days after the event which was wonderful to be able to share. I hope they enjoyed our event as much as we enjoyed their presence and pictures!”

We tend to start off as strangers meeting for the first time, then turn out to smile and laugh, maybe tears of joy also throughout the day. The day is not only important to you, but to your family and friends. To the next generation coming after you who will dust off and look at your photos and say “Mommy what was up with your hair,” those are the ones who will relive your wedding with you through your photos the most.
