I was genuinely saddened and surprised to read this review, especially since it was posted nearly a year after your wedding and none of these concerns were ever communicated to me directly. For anyone reading this, I'd like to provide some context. When Lindsey first reached out, her wedding was only three weeks away. I had already committed to photographing two other weddings that weekend, so I was transparent from the beginning that I personally would not be available to photograph the wedding day. I explained that one of my trusted team members would be capturing the wedding, and this was fully communicated before booking. Even with such short notice, I worked within her budget by offering a significant discount from my standard wedding pricing because I genuinely wanted to help. On top of that, I provided a complimentary engagement session that was never included in the package. I drove nearly two hours to photograph that session at no additional cost, simply because I wanted to go above and beyond. The engagement session took place just before the wedding. Regarding the gallery delivery, the wedding took place during the busiest part of wedding season. While the gallery took longer than originally anticipated, I worked hard to deliver a fully edited gallery while maintaining the quality of the work. Regarding the editing, my style has always been natural and true to life. Extensive body retouching or cosmetic alterations are not part of my standard editing unless specifically requested. Certain technical issues, such as reflections in eyeglasses, also cannot always be completely removed depending on how the image was captured without negatively affecting the photograph. What surprised me most is that none of these concerns were ever brought to my attention after the gallery was delivered. Had I known there were issues, I would have welcomed the opportunity to discuss them and do what I reasonably could to help. Instead, I learned about these concerns nearly a year later through this public review. I truly care about every couple I work with and always strive to go above and beyond. That's exactly what I believed I had done here by accommodating a last-minute wedding, working within the couple's budget, providing a complimentary engagement session, and doing everything I could to make sure they had beautiful memories of their wedding.
