Hey, I'm Mari! I’m a photographer, and I’ve been working with weddings since 2018. I started as a videographer, and because of that, I want my photos with more movement, and that can feel, in a lot of ways, more like something that is actually happening and not just a regular pose. I do editorial and fashion, so I’m open to concepts and new ideas. But mostly, I really like the movement in it. My journey as a photographer has always been something more creative and artistic.

For me, it's also important to connect with people who, just like me, can sometimes feel a little too sensitive and overwhelmed by this world. So my photos also have this aspect of not interfering with the way people feel about themselves, not forcing anything, and giving people space to just feel like their natural selves. I grew up in Brazil, so I’m also very connected to the experience of being an immigrant and to the importance of feeling welcomed and safe. I care about diversity, and I want everyone I work with to feel comfortable being exactly who they are. I hope you feel welcomed, respected, and safe in front of my lens.
