“Fortune Valley Manor was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, the team's communication was detailed, fast, and extremely organized. The gorgeous barn and property were exactly what we were looking for to blend our Tamil Brahmin (Hindu) wedding traditions with an Upstate New York barn feel. The wedding planning process was thorough, and Kerri and her team made sure our special day went smoothly, even studying our customs ahead of time. While wedding planning can be overwhelming at times, Fortune Valley Manor exceeded all of our needs and expectations to make our dream wedding a reality.”

“Black Walnut Farm will always hold a special place in our hearts. It was the first venue we saw, and the moment we stepped on the property, we knew it was where we were meant to get married. From the start, Sara, Jim, and their team cared for us with such warmth and attention. Their online planning portal made everything simple, but what we loved most was how personally they got to know us. They listened to our vision and brought it to life in a way that felt truly meaningful. Throughout the weekend, every detail was handled with so much thought. Our guests felt welcomed, we felt supported, and even when the weather forced last-minute changes, the team stayed calm and kept everything running beautifully. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. Black Walnut Farm isn’t just a stunning venue, it’s a place filled with people who genuinely care about making your day unforgettable. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.”

“We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!”

“Phoenicia Diner went above and beyond when communicating with my wife and I about options, and assisted us through the entire process. It was more difficult getting my suit tailored than arranging to have our wedding here. The food was outstanding and all our guests loved it, and they even made great NA beverages because my wife and I don’t drink (they ended up being the most purchased drink at the bar, actually). Aside from how good everything there was, the price is so reasonable when you consider you’re getting married in one of the most popular places in the Catskills with awards and nods from huge publications like NYT. It was so special to get married in the diner, and I would pick it all over again if I had to. I’ve been to a number of weddings at fancy places with bad food and atmosphere with nothing special about it. The diner was the opposite of that- excellent food, really fun atmosphere, and incredibly special.”

“We loved our wedding at ElmRock Inn! The venue is gorgeous and I had the time of my life. Staying onsite was amazing. I highly recommend ElmRock. The chef is fantastic and we will remember our wedding fondly for the rest of our lives. There were a few negatives during our stay, but we are still very glad that we got married at ElmRock. The first negative was that the water in the BnB and carriage house (where bride/groom stayed) kept running out at night. This was pretty annoying, but not a huge issue since the water was usually fine by morning. Second, the venue coordinator was pretty rude throughout the weekend and especially to my family. Many people at the wedding commented about how rude she was (and the fact that she wore white pants to our wedding!). The rest of the staff was nicer, though a couple of the servers were also rude, just not as bad. I expected the staff to be more accommodating and welcoming the entire weekend, but it really felt more like we were getting scolded at times. Lastly, they served my wedding cake really cold and had clearly forgotten to take it out of the fridge to get to room temperature before serving. That was quite frustrating, especially since I heard them talking about how I (the bride) needed to hurry up to start the cake cutting while I was changing, but the cake wasn't even ready! Overall, the venue is gorgeous and we had a lovely time. I think the experience would be improved by some updating to their plumbing and getting a coordinator that's nicer to their customers. The food was AMAZING and the chef is fantastic, just be warned if you're sensitive to people who can be rude/unaccommodating.”

“We had a deliriously happy, memorable wedding weekend at Hotel Lilien. Our entire bridal party and family stayed here, and the hotel hosted a fantastic BBQ for our Friday night welcome event. It was a pleasure working with the owners, through many months of planning right up to the big day. I can't overstate how accommodating and detail-oriented their team is -- and on top of that, they are friendly and fun, and know how to throw a great party. The hotel itself is picturesque and well appointed. I loved that we each had our own cozy room, but in the mornings and evenings, everyone came downstairs to hang out in the lounge space, which feels like an inviting living room. Their team set the tone for a great day every single day. They were always ready to help with things like distributing welcome bags, offering local recommendations and of course pouring superior cocktails. Working with Hotel Lilien was a dream the whole way. Attached photos: Eileen Meny eileenmenyphotography.com”

Ryan the lift operations manager kept Brittany updated on the weather day of and when it didn’t look good at the bottom he drove up to make sure he truly had say no to us going to the summit (it was 30 degrees with 45 kt winds) he and his crew opened the lift for 2 hours the next day so we could still get our summit pictures and they all had smiles on their faces. “Choosing to have our wedding at Camp Timber Lake was probably the single most important decision we made during the planning process. The camp setting gave us the opportunity to create something far more immersive, personal, and joyful than we had imagined, and the camp / Gatheround staff and everyone involved in the planning process gave us the ability to execute on making all our dreams come true! In the months leading up to the wedding, we worked closely with Will, who was incredibly friendly, responsive, and on top of every detail. He always made time to talk through our many questions and helped accommodate some of our more unconventional requests—from having Camp Timber Lake cater our Sunday reception dinner (which we highly recommend!) to brainstorming the best locations for a nighttime game of kick the can. The camp itself is absolutely beautiful and was perfectly manicured for our arrival. There were endless activities for our guests to enjoy, and the staff placed sports equipment throughout the property so everyone could immediately jump into whatever interested them. Our guests had so much fun exploring the grounds, tossing frisbees and footballs, shooting hoops, and making the camp their own for the weekend. The staff including Reggie, Scott, Liz, Willow, Marcie, and so many others, were AMAZING. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend special. Scott and Liz stayed on top of every detail, and the entire team continually went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and cared for. When one of our guests lost her phone in the dining hall after hours, the team turned the lights back on and helped her search for it. After she mentioned that she was having trouble turning on the heat in her cabin, they walked over to help, then returned 15 minutes later with brownies and ice cream for her and her cabin-mates as a nice surprise. Another favorite moment happened on the dance floor Saturday night. We had brought bubble guns but realized too late that they required batteries we didn’t have. We’d given up on using them, but when Willow (one of the camp staff) overheard a friend say, “I wish we had batteries for these bubble guns.” he went and tracked down batteries from TV remotes around the camp on his own accord and got the bubble guns working. They ended up being a huge hit! Moments like these, and so many others, made us feel completely at home and made our guests feel incredibly well cared for. The food was also outstanding. We received rave reviews about every meal. The team went out of its way to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, providing hearty vegan and vegetarian options at every meal. They even prepared a special plate every meal for my mom, who has an autoimmune disorder that prevents her from eating most spices. The team also decorated dishes with edible flowers and made everything look beautiful. For our reception dinner on the final night, they even came up with the idea of displaying leftover Boy Scout patches from one of our weekend activities along the buffet counter. It was the perfect thoughtful touch. We had multiple guests tell us that this was their favorite wedding they had ever attended, and Camp Timber Lake (and the wonderful people who run it) were a huge reason why. Thank you for giving us and our guests such a magical, joyful, and unforgettable weekend. It truly was the best weekend of our lives! Can’t recommend this wedding venue enough!”

“When we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a laid back vibe where it felt like we were spending real, quality time with our loved ones. We wanted it to feel formal and special, but also like a little vacation where we could relax and let our hair down. And most importantly, as a couple that works in music and production, we really wanted it to feel like a music festival. Full Moon Resort completely delivered on our vision, and most importantly, took so much stress out of planning the whole weekend. First of all, the venue is gorgeous. Even though it was cold and we moved our ceremony under the tent, the landscape and the rustic charm of the grounds just can't be beaten. The pavilion is so gorgeous you don't need to go overboard with decor! The team at Full Moon really, really knows what they're doing. Every time I began to get stressed during the planning process, the events team would reach out with guidance and questions to keep me on track with planning. They've seen it all and had answers to every question I had. THE FOOD. The portions are insane, and everything was delicious. Our guests raved about it. We had gone back and forth on if we wanted a cake, but at the tasting we had a vanilla and peach cake that was to die for and could not pass it up. And finally, the vibes. The entire wedding weekend felt like a dream. It was so relaxed and so FUN. The Roadhouse for the after party was unbelievable. Our guests are still raving about it. If you're looking for a campground vibe at a great value, this is it. We wish we could do it all over again.”

“We had the pleasure of having our daughter’s reception at the Inn. We were forced to relocate to their venue because of a gas leak at our original location. 5 hours before the wedding! The entire staff, especially Mary the manager and Matt the bartender went over and above to make sure our reception went well. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful grounds and venue space. If they can do what they did for us in 5 hours. I can only imagine what would have been with 5 months of planning! Thanks again for your attention to detail and hospitality, you saved the day….”

“I cannot recommend this venue more! Not only is it beautiful on the inside but Bryce and Courtney who help run the show put in so much time, effort, and energy into making it the best day you could imagine! After our initial meeting with Bryce it was a no-brainer to go with Novella’s. They were the only venue that said yes to all of our requests and let us make the wedding more catered to us as a couple (DIY stirrers, signage, centerpieces, etc.). They only do 1 wedding a day so you are their main focus for the duration of your day. He will answer your emails, texts, and set up meetings with you if you ask! He also added some ideas we wouldn’t have thought of and walked us through the timeline and process with our goals in mind. Our family/friend’s raved about the food during cocktail hour and dinner. Good portions and great quality! As the bride, I felt they ran a tight ship with no hiccups in sight and were easy to find if I had any questions. My guests said it was a true hidden gem that they didn’t know about but loved! They also have a deal with the local Pastry Garden to give you a custom cake included in the venue cost! The venue is within walking feet of a local hotel who are fabulous to work with and Bryce also let us use the outdoor patio for an amazing after party! Truly just good people to work with and SO easy to trust!”

“Booking with The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm is the best thing my husband and I have ever done. We were looking to have a small intimate wedding, but every venue tour we did still had a 75-100 person minimum and required a large cost requirement for catering. Then I happened upon The Wedding Foundry when researching micro weddings. We had one phone call with Billiam and immediately signed the contract, without even viewing the venue first. As a bride, the fact that they were including the venue, the officiant, photography, florals and catering was the best thing ever. It took so much stress off of me while planning this wedding, as I did not have to run around to different vendors. Billiam and Erica were extremely communicative and really took the time to learn what we were looking for. Day of, Billiam and his day of coordinator Cathy made sure the day ran perfectly. We were absolutely blown away from how beautiful our venue was. The florals they created made our wedding look like a fairy tale. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Erica was an absolute pro with photography, really taking her time with my husband and I for our portraits. Throughout the night she made sure to capture every moment. Erica sent teasers to us within a week of our wedding and the photos are beautiful. The officiant, Michele, was amazing. She created the most personalized and beautiful ceremony that fit us perfectly. We loved how she included a hand-fasting ceremony as well. Multiple guests approached us to let us know that there was not a single dry eye during our ceremony. The Wedding Foundry truly created our perfect day. We are so happy with our intimate wedding, we had 46 of our closest friends and family and everyone truly enjoyed the day. I highly recommend booking The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm for your intimate wedding.”

“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.”

“My women's education and networking group, the Women's Professional Network (WPN) held an event at Revel 32 on the evening of June 29. The venue is simply amazing! Beautiful, well laid out for any type of event. On the first floor there is a greeting/social area. When you climb to the top of the beautiful stairway, there is a small area that leads to a larger meeting room. There is a beautiful bar between these 2 rooms. There is also a larger room with a lovely stage. On the third floor there is another room and an exquisite balcony overlooking the second floor. The venue layout was very conducive to a networking event like ours. The hostess ( Judy Hannon) and her team were so hospitable and warm. Parking is readily available next to the building or in the public parking lot across the street. I would highly recommend Revel 32 as a venue for any type of event. The Revel 32 team will be sure to make your event a memorable one. Lea Bishop, CEO of the WPN”

Welcome to The Caboose, a stunning 3,500-square-foot space steeped in Hudson Valley history, reimagined for an open, modern feel that’s both communal and cosmopolitan. With its soaring beamed ceilings and expansive cathedral windows, The Caboose is truly the best wedding venue in Hudson, NY and the perfect spot to host your next seated event, where guests can enjoy a seasonal farm-to-table menu curated by Executive Chef Nicole LoBue. After dinner, continue the fun with dancing and drinking, or simply step outside to watch the sun set on our lush private garden filled with over 14,000 perennials. Whatever you decide, The Caboose is the space to enjoy all the modern amenities you’ve come to expect from a venue like ours — including killer sound and PA systems and aesthetic finishes like warm woods, cool marbles and stone, and hand-finished metals, all accomplished without sacrificing our commitment to being 100% carbon-neutral — because we love our planet as much as we do our guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Has a fun and festive vibe

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
“We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them.
