“Ashley drove all the way up from Philadelphia to photograph our wedding in the Boston area. Her prices were quite reasonable, including the travel costs. She was a very pleasant and relaxed photographer, flexible in the face of uncertainty and complexity, and able to marshall children and adults effectively. Her street photography background lended itself perfectly for candid, intimate, dynamic images, which we were hoping to capture for our guests. Our wedding was on November 3rd, 2024. We received 1100 online photographs on March 29th, 2025, and a USB of all photographs around April 15th, 2025. So it took 20 weeks, 6 days for the full set of photographs. Ashley was able to get us several photographs on November 9th, 2024, which was a pleasant experience after the wedding. My wife was concerned that we might not get the photos from Ashley, as time went by and we could not contact her. During the winter my wife was contacted by another recent customer of Ashley's to ask if we had gotten hold of her and received photos, as the other customer had not yet and had been unable to contact her. The effort of calling, texting, or emailing her every few weeks with no or infrequent responses did become a bit of a chore for us. We're giving Ashley 4 out of 5 stars because the quality of her photos and her quality as a member of the wedding day does not deserve a lower rating. We just wanted you to know of the delay and lack of contact we experienced after the event. It might have been a temporary setback for Ashley, we can't tell from her communication with us. Good luck in your wedding planning!”

(You know the sos button on your phone… yeah my dad bumped that and the state cops showed up…. Oops.) but Michelle did amazing with them. We had a first look and then did our family photos and they did a wonderful job getting the kids attention (3 kids under 2). During our ceremony I had no idea they were even there, they really do just blend in to the scene. During cocktail hour Ashley took some precious photos of us with our son that I know I’ll cherish forever. They even took us out for some nighttime portraits before the left for the night. When we were initially looking for photographers we were looking for ones with an artsy flare that could handle difficult light scenarios as we were getting married at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. They were just as stoked as we were and were excited for the challenge of reflective glass and constantly shifting lighting as well as low lighting areas. They have an easy day of planner form that you fill out closer to the day and they also go over the day of schedule with you prior to make sure that everything goes well, which as a schedule-minded girl, I loved. “We used her for our engagement shoot & wedding photos. We didn’t realize that you should choose your wedding photography *style* before you reach out to potential photographers. If you go the other route—book first, learn about the style later—you may end up with photos that don’t match your vision. We came to Carrie after our first photographer disappointed us. She has more of a documentary style with less of an emphasis on the awkwardly posed photos. However, she will still go the extra effort to get an amazing poses shot if you ask. She has such a laid back and positive attitude. I recommend Carrie to anyone looking for beautiful images and a wedding day that doesn’t feel like a photoshoot. She’s a true professional.”
