    Above and Beyond Expectations

    We absolutely loved working with Hoffer Photography and Jim! Two of our friends had used Hoffer for their weddings, so we were thrilled when we found out Jim was available for ours. From our first meeting, Jim made the entire process feel straightforward and easy. We gave him a short shot list, but otherwise trusted him to do what he does best, and we're so glad we did. Neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but Jim gave clear, natural direction that made us feel at ease and ensured everything looked amazing. Hoffer Photography also delivered exactly as promised. We received our sneak peek within two weeks and our full gallery in under a month. The photos are absolutely stunning and perfectly capture the energy of our celebration. One of the things that impressed us most was how unobtrusive Jim was throughout the ceremony. We barely noticed him, yet he somehow captured every important moment along with so many beautiful candid shots of us and our guests. We've received so many compliments on both the photos and Jim himself, and we can't stop looking through our gallery.

    Pi Day Wedding

    We were blown away by Tony and Amy- we highly recommend Hoffer Photograpy! From our very first zoom call, Tony and Amy made us feel so comfortable and answered all of our questions. Day-of, they were amazing!! They created such a calm and easy going atmosphere; we felt relaxed. They picked out great spots for our first look in Lambertville, NJ, and coordinated our group photos with bridal party and family seamlessly. And the photos themselves- we are obsessed!! They captured so many of the special moments of our day, and we love all the candids. They really feel like us. All of our friends and family loved the photos as well; my mom said it seemed like we had five photographers there, capturing the day. We highly recommend Hoffer Photograpy for any special occasion!

    The best there is!

    Absolutely thrilled with our experience with Hoffer Photography! From the moment we met Tony and Amy, we knew they were the perfect fit for our wedding. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel at ease, especially since we’re not the most comfortable in front of the camera. Throughout the entire process, they were incredibly accessible and responsive. Tony even hopped on a call to discuss timeline suggestions, which was super helpful. On the big day, they blended seamlessly into the background while we were getting ready, making the whole experience feel natural and relaxed. When it came time for our portraits, they brought such a fun and light-hearted energy that we actually enjoyed the process! They have a remarkable talent for capturing those candid, intimate moments that we’ll cherish forever. The way they documented the joy on the dance floor was just magical—everyone at our wedding couldn’t stop raving about how amazing they were! And let’s not forget the photo booth!     Tony & Amy are MAGIC!

    Tony and Amy Hoffer are magic. From our very first call, they felt like old friends—warm, intuitive, and incredibly easy to connect with. We chose them because of their extraordinary ability to blend editorial artistry with real, candid emotion—and they delivered far beyond even our highest hopes. They shot our engagement session at home, capturing us cooking dinner together, sipping cocktails on the balcony, and walking through our neighborhood park with Sachi. Those photos were so us, and the experience helped us get completely comfortable in front of the camera long before the big day. On our wedding day, they were everywhere and yet never in the way—blending in so seamlessly that we often forgot we were being photographed. From the quiet, emotional moments of getting ready to the pure joy of the first look (even in the snow!) and the big, bolsterous moments on the dance floor, they captured it all with precision and heart. We had a few special requests (like a group shot at the end of our ceremony), and not only did they execute them flawlessly, they made it all feel effortless. They’re an incredible team—and they made everyone feel comfortable and seen. Our guests looked amazing in every photo (seriously!), and they even managed to make our dog Sachi look like a four-legged supermodel.     Unbelievably fun and talented!

    I cannot say enough good things about Tony and Amy. They were absolutely incredible as our photographers for our wedding weekend. They made us feel so comfortable and at-ease in front of the camera (which isn’t easy) and the photos they captured are beyond all our expectations! Not to mention, the speed with which they got the first set of photos posted was SO fast! We would recommend them to anyone for their events and we hope to be able to work with them again in the future!!

We have two main goals that guide how we shoot and how we run our business: 1. Be Original. We strive to be unique. While that means creativity behind the camera, it also means listening, learning and getting to know our clients. It means adapting and adjusting our work to fit you. 2. Be Genuine. We strive for wedding photography that is transparent and authentic. We show every wedding we shoot, not just people that look a certain way. We don’t pay venues or vendors for referrals. We don’t take on weddings and outsource them to random photographers. We run a client-focused business with integrity, creativity and fun.
Of course! We’re a small wedding photography studio. We believe in giving personal attention and an authentic experience. So when you reach out, you can choose either Amy & Tony Hoffer or our Associate Jim Heine. Whomever you choose, you’ll hear directly from us, meet with us, and get photographed by us. We don’t have a sales staff or a large ‘roster’ of photographers. We don’t book weddings and then ‘assign’ a photographer later. Weddings are a personal experience. Knowing (and liking) your photographer is critical to being able to feel comfortable and enjoy your day! We start that process from Day 1.
Absolutely! We’ve traveled all over the world for weddings, engagements and commercial work. We’re based in Philly and work mostly in the tri-state area, but we’ve been to all 50 states and have shot all over North + Central America as well as Asia, Africa and Europe. Whether you’re interested in a destination wedding, an elopement, or engagement photos down the shore, the answer is always ‘Yes!’. We love an adventure!

Quickly! We post a preview of every wedding that we shoot to our blog within a week… usually faster. You’ll get the full gallery of photos back in less than 4 weeks. We don’t mess around when it comes to delivery times! We also edit everything in house! We don’t outsource edits to a service or use AI to batch edit your images. We know our clients personally and that means you get us (not a machine) from the beginning to the end.
