About Life Like Ruby's
Life Like Ruby's
I’m a wedding and family photographer located in Newtown., PA. Like many good things in life, my love of photography took hold when I least expected it. I was living in New York, meeting new friends, and surrounded by some of the most creative and inspiring people I know. I was studying computer animation at the time, but photography was my excuse to take a break and go outside. After a few months, I knew it was what I wanted to pursue!
I'm a wife, a mother, and kind of a nerd haha. I love trying to capture the real beauty of a moment. I love looking back on those photographs and remembering that time so clearly. Back in New York, I was photographing anything and everything- events, travels, jewelry, friendships, adventures, concerts, ice cream… And in 2017 I was asked to photograph my first wedding. I was beyond excited. To be able to continue this journey and share my love of photography with new couples (new friends!) has been no less than a dream come true.

The best decision you will make for your event
Alyssa was an unbelievably lovely vendor to work with. She was kind and welcoming from the first phone called and I immediately knew she was a good fit for us. She made me feel very comfortable from our first conversation, and I felt that same vibe on the wedding day. She was organized and meticulous leading up to the big event, and I could tell that she had listened to my preferences and understood the look we were going for while also incorporating her amazing talent and eye. She knocked out every request we had perfectly. The day of felt like an old friend was stringing along photographing us which made us feel completely at ease. Not only was she a joy to have by our side all day, but the pictures were unbelievable. I cried tears of joy as soon as I saw our gallery.
