My filming style has been described as documentarian and pleasantly discrete. I may stage a few shots from time to time and I will work with the photographer as they are posing you for specific shots, but my films are defined by the fleeting moments in the midst of a very busy day.

Hello! My name is Alec and I run Small Batch Films! With a Master's Degree in Business Administration, I never thought I would find my love in wedding videography. I initially picked up a camera as a hobby, and then friends started asking me to do photography for them. Pretty soon I was doing photography for my friend's weddings, and I was hooked. It was such an exhilarating feeling to capture such an important day in the lives of two people in love! But where I really found my love was with the video camera.

Hi, I'm Kari Ries, owner and lead videographer of Ries Video Productions. As a young producer for Time Warner in NYC, I shot and edited all of my own news stories. When my husband and I got married in 1994, I edited my own wedding video, creating a story of "us". I realized right then and there that I was most energized by personal and creative videography, and boom, Ries Video Productions was born!
