My intuitive creations ranges from macaron, macaron towers, decorated sugar cookies, small bite size dessert such as cupcakes, petit fours, cakes shooters, brownies, cookies, cookie cups, push pop desserts and cookie sandwiches. I collaborate closely with your event coordinator to ensure a cohesive theme and to decorate the treats accordingly. While we do not typically decorate the tables. It began in 1994 with a dream. Ira Gutner packed his bags, left a successful career in New York City’s Garment District and moved upstate to open Samuel’s of Rhinebeck, a boutique candy and coffee shop in the heart of bucolic Dutchess County. Ira named his shop after his late Uncle Sam who introduced him as a boy to penny candy. I began working for Ira as a 15-year-old after school and diligently worked my way up to store manager. Ira’s sudden passing in April 2014 left all of us in the community stunned and heartbroken.
