He made everything so easy we met him in person he explained how their company works and showed us the portal where we would provide all of the details for the DJ. Their pricing was also really well we ended up going with the wireless uplighting and Photo Booth and honestly so glad we did the uplighting it made the entire venue look even better. A month before our wedding we got assigned our DJ, Jonathan, and he couldn’t of been a better DJ. He did an intro call with me and discussed all of my concerns and my schedule and was very detailed in going over my timeline and added extras I wanted. Fast forward to my wedding and he literally killed it. There was a packed dance floor non stop with all ages and his transitions for his music were insane. People kept coming up to us and saying this is the best wedding they have been to the music is so good. We had people keep saying they didn’t want to leave because they didn’t want to stop dancing. Jonathan kept checking in with us through our the night which I appreciated so much and he even made sure to go over our bridal parties names beforehand to make sure he was pronouncing everyone’s name right. Honestly we have several people getting married that we know who have requested a personal touches info because of how good the music was. DJ Jonathan is a GEM and so is Jared. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). The communication style from the owners was rude, rushed, and slow at times, which caused some minor hiccups that were partly my own fault for not reading everything carefully before confirming (wedding brain). However, the end result was absolutely worth it - the two beautiful 3-tiered cakes they created were simply gorgeous, decadent, and had everyone at our wedding raving about the incredible taste. Despite the less-than-ideal communication, Aggie's Bakery delivered on the quality and value of their work, creating cakes that were truly the highlight of our dessert table.”

“The UEC is a wonderful organization that does such great conservation work in our community and it pleased us very much to be able to support them with some of our wedding dollars. The outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous and shady. Inside, we love the beautiful wood paneling and rustic wood furniture, as well as the openness of the space and the big skylight. Danni, our event coordinator, was great to work with and very responsive to our emails and questions. It was great to feel so welcomed and comfortable as a queer couple. The UEC is very LGBTQIA friendly and we felt right at home! Oh and the beautiful natural surroundings made for great photos too!”

She made the whole process totally stress-free. And Mary… I can’t say enough good things! She is SO talented and truly an artist. We first met on a virtual trial where I felt understood, comfortable and confident in the services to come. She nailed my vision perfectly — soft, glowy, and natural but still totally glam. My makeup lasted all day and night (highly recommend 10 hour day to switch things up from ceremony to reception) and I honestly felt like the most beautiful version of myself. “The Best Place at Pabst was so easy to work with, affordable, flexible drink packages, lots of fun amenities, natural atmosphere and decor means you don’t need to do much decorating of your own, I could go on and on. Our guests could not stop raving about how unique, intimate and lovely the space was. We used the Blue Ribbon Hall which included a balcony space which we used to give our guests the opportunity to play classic WI card games; Euchre, Sheepshead, cribbage etc… It was a great, separate space to hang out but still be a part of the celebration and watch the dancing. The staff even accommodated our last minute request to play the Bucks playoff game on the projector during dinner! Our wedding included lots of guests from out of town and out of state and we really wanted a venue that embodied Milwaukee culture. This. Was. IT.”
