HIGHLY Recommend!!

I would highly recommend The Fitzgerald! The venue is beautiful both inside and outside. We were really drawn to the beauty of the ivy on the outside of the building. The colors, the antique furniture, and the beautiful original details throughout the space photograph so well. We had 125 guests and it never felt crowded. The flow of the space was perfect. We had planned to get married outside on the terrace but the weather did not cooperate so we pulled it inside, and then the staff flipped the room for us during the cocktail hour. It did not feel like a “back up plan” to be inside, and it was so pretty. The cocktail hour space was great for mingling with guests and it’s so nice that there are 2 bars so guests aren’t waiting long for drinks. Then flowing back into the ballroom for dinner and drinks just worked out great. It was great to have the outside space and the cocktail area for guests to enjoy themselves if they didn’t want to be on the dance floor. We got ready in the upstairs spaces, which I would highly recommend! They are spacious and so convenient. We were required to use Milwaukee Airwaves as our DJ and All Occasions as our caterer, which took the stress of choosing those vendors off our plate. Both vendors were incredible! Truly can’t recommend this venue enough!

Outstanding, Opulent and Overwhelmingly Beautiful!

We got married at the Fitzgerald and it was nothing short of incredible! The modern updates don't take away from the vintage feel whatsoever, and create a truly unique space. Having the ceremony and reception all in once place made things much easier on us, and the DJ, bar, caterer and security all being part of the venue was something we didn't find anywhere else. Speaking of thing that come with the venue, we worked with Ann and Ben through the whole process, and not only were they prompt, they were so personable and helpful! They really made our day perfect and stress-free. THANK YOU to everyone at the Fitzgerald!!!

We got married at The Fitzgerald on September 27, 2026 and though it was one of the best days of our lives and the venue made some planning parts easier as they have one exclusive caterer and DJ, there were a couple mishaps. We were mainly communicating with Ben throughout the process prior to the day, he was incredibly responsive, communicative and gave us a clear answer on what venue staff could and couldn't do. We were told that they would help set up name cards, the welcome table and the small activities we had during cocktail hour. They did none of those but helped set up candles. The staff also were late. Catering was scheduled to set up at 1pm but staff didn't start setting up the tables until 1pm. We were told that the candles would be lit during the ceremony, staff began to light them during cocktail hour. There was a large table placed in the middle of the cocktail hour area and we had to personally inform someone that this was not in our original layout. We were told DURING our cocktail hour that catering could not accommodate our speech schedule. Every vendor had access to our schedule as well as we had filled out every vendor's schedule beforehand, so we were confused on why this was the case. This indicates to us that Brianna, our venue coordinator, either was not fully aware of these details or did not execute correctly. All these small details added up and the responsibilities ended up falling to the groom to dictate and execute these things. Besides these mishaps, the food exceeded expectations, and their exclusive DJ also went above and beyond to help execute our vision. I think one improvement that could be made is having the venue coordinator be in communication with the couple a couple of days in advance to review the day.
